One of the Best Places To Visits in Keltie Bridge Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Tucked into the charming town of Callander, Mhor Bread & Store is the kind of bakery that makes you wish your tour bus had a flat tire—just so you’d have more time to linger. From the moment we stepped inside, the scent of fresh-baked pastries and savory wrapped around us like a cozy tartan blanket. The and haggis pie, a bold beautiful bite of Scotland, and the sausage rolls looked like a flaky perfection. But the real showstopper? The meringue cookies—towering, cloud-like confections that looked like they’d been whipped up by a pastry wizard with a sweet tooth and a sense of humor. Everything we tried (and ogled) appeared fresh, high-quality, and made with care. The selection was impressive, balancing hearty savory options with indulgent sweets. The staff were friendly and relaxed, creating an atmosphere that felt more like a neighborhood gathering spot than a tourist stop. My wife ordered a sandwich to take away for lunch later on our tour, and it was so good it became the unofficial mascot of our trip. She’s mentioned it multiple times since we got home—proof that Mhor Bread doesn’t just feed you, it leaves a imprint on your travel memories. If you're passing through, do yourself a favor: grab a pie, snag a sweet, and let Mhor Bread be the bite-sized highlight of your Highland adventure. We were visiting this area and wanted a quick lunch. This place was rated well. It was busy and they had a small area for dining. Luckily, we were able to seat. The pastries were reasonably priced & delicious. I’m always in search of a bakery and coffee joint. If you too enjoy baked goods, this Scottish Highlands gem is a must stop. An amazingly yummy for everyone! Meat pies, fruit pies, sandwiches, and even chicken strips and chips for the kids!!! So glad it was recommended to us...we would do the same! Yum! Highly recommended here! Lots of seating, SO many options. No filter/drip coffee, only espresso drinks with iced options. Vegan and vegetarian options. 5/5! A perfect spontaneous breakfast stop! Passed through Callander early in the morning on our way to Fort William and were completely enchanted by the views of snow-covered Ben Ledi. At 7:30am the whole town felt cosy and magical. We popped into Mhor on a whim after seeing how lovely it looked from the outside <3 and the reviews on Google Maps didn’t lie! We were spoiled for choice and even let two people go ahead of us because we couldn’t decide. In the end we tried the chocolate croissant (so good we went back for a second), creamy ham soup, mushroom stroganoff pie, a brownie, a blondie and their festive croissant filled with strawberry jam and cream. Everything was incredible. I’ll be thinking about Mhor all the way to Fort William… and when we drive back to Yorkshire in three days, we’ll definitely be stopping again to stock up! Ah I could easily over indulge here. The filled rolls, etc looked amazing. The sweet treats omg looked fantastic and some artisan Produce too. The roast beef sandwich was fab. Crunchy and soft. The beef plentiful. Coffee made well, we sat in but my only gripe was everything is served to go. And coffee is never as good in a takeaway cup compared with a decent cup. We arrived at lunch time and although there was a queue it did go down quickly and there was still plenty on offer. Well worth a visit! Scored down atmosphere as it was communal seats and served as take out. Yum!!! Outstandingly good pies, fantastic bakery selling high quality and Sandwich’s and cakes, I had the and haggis which was packed full of super tasty and haggis. Truly 🤤 Lovely staff and THE BEST PIE I’ve ever had. Beautiful flaky pastry on the lid and crunchy pasty on the base and edges, just as it should be. Huge pieces of soft and rich gravy. Also veggie options! Don’t think, just go here! A favorite place for our hosts to on the way up north to Loch Ness, Inverness etc from the Edinburgh area. Located in the picturesque town of Callander, Mohr Bread & Store offers a wide range of sandwiches for the road, beverage of all sorts, and confections that had our party of 12 salivating! The service was friendly and kind to explain the variety of offerings to our mostly Yank group. Huge selection of breads, rolls, drinks and sweet treats. Lots of lovely Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ingredients. A must try, piped in for breakfast. Always has a cue but Irvin’s fast moving and the staff are fantastic 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Phenomenal display of freshly baked breads and pastries. I picked up a pie that’s perfectly flakey and flavorful. So many breads and spreads and things to look at. It’s just a shame the counter area is so small or I would have gawked at the items behind the glass more without fear of building up the line. Mhor is a lunch spot, always crazy busy but that's expected when the food is so fresh and of such good quality. Staff are always friendly too! Make sure you are there from 11-12 as afterwards there is not much choice in terms of baguettes. Got a blondie for takeaway also which was yummy! It is quite expensive for lunch you are looking at least £30 but a nice treat for a one off. Where to start. Service to food to experience has been incredible. The family and I ended up coming here nearly every day during our week long stay in Strathyre Cabins. Staff were very kind and generous to offer ‘free’ leftovers towards closing. This included and sandwiches that needed eating or otherwise binned! My personal favourite’s were; loaves of bread, the Chicken and Leek Pie and their Christmassy Mince Pie (to die for). Overall gem in Callander, would definitely visit again. Second visit here. Absolutely delightful food. Enjoyed the pie, caramel oatie and bites of my husband's egg mayonnaise sandwich. Everything is fresh and wonderful. This so call the “best bakery in Scotland” it really lives up to its reputation I never have Honey Mustard chips in UK but I got one at there! Love it! Hope visit there soon!
