One of the highlights of my trip to Gran Canaria. Informative of the vineyard, host was very friendly and knowledgeable. Wine at the end was very good and a lovely selection of cheese and olives to finish. Would recommend booking a here if you are in the area Experiencia de cata de vinos muy enriquecedora y el lugar elegido, muy bueno. Lovely winery in North Gran Canaria just by the Bandana caldera. You can visit and buy wine, or phone in advance for a tasting with cheese and olives. Wonderful! Ok wine, a bit expensive for the quality it offers. The trip out here was perfect, and I would come back, but without a car or bus, it might be tough to get to. I am not sure if you can take the bus up here as this vineyard, Bodega Los Lirios is located at the Bandama Volcano just south of Las Palmas and coming from Maspalomas it was a trip worth it. This is a family-owned and it has been there for generations that does tapas and they produce white and red wine. Lucky us as on our we were told that the only produces 300 bottles of white a year. And we were lucky enough to have one. I did end up loving the variety of red wines they had for quite cheap too for a glass (worth the price for a bottle as well). We had probably every dish they offer there as it was part of a deal we had. A few of their dishes were tasty, the ones that I did not like was cold fish, wish in general I am not a fan of. I did try it, was worth the and am happy to try. But would probably stick to their stews, potatoes mojo sauce. Not only lots of food and tasty but also, we were so lucky to have these artists playing which created a fantastic atmosphere. They made the afternoon as they sang great, took a few song requests and just in general were so positive and fun. It did help that the lead singer was half Welsh, so she was able to sing in both Spanish and English which was nice. However, the venue has a different artist there each week, I think. Moving on to the venue is an open space venue that serves foods and lots of tasty red wines. If you drink the there you must have the “abecado” or Llantén Tinto Crianza 2018 and have to order a few of their delicious tapas. Most of their meals are meat-based so it might not be the best place to eat for vegans. Even without going on a tour, you can go and look at the but of course, don’t go picking up grapes if they are in season. The staff here were kind and friendly. There is also a parking space there if you want to drive up. Also, other businesses are outside so you can buy more than just there. Check out their website for more things you can do at their venue such as a photoshoot, picnic, meal and dining experience. Just a wonderful experience! I highly recommend the but even just for some homemade lunch and trying the different lovely wines it's 100% worth spending here a Sunday afternoon. The family is always available for questions and more information, too. We'll be back for sure! Fuimos a la visita guiada con degustación de 3 vinos y picoteo de productos locales. Una experiencia de 10, volvería a repetir tanto la visita guiada por el nivel de explicación y detalles que nos dio la guía y por el menú degustación. This place is just amazing! We had a super interesting English around the wineyard from a guide, Carlota! In the end we also enjoyed nice specialties and wine! Must experience, if you are around! 🌞🎉 of the vineyards and an excellent production. Views were fab and Carolita the guide was friendly and informative. Would recommend as a change from the busy beach resorts. I went with 2 friends on 18/01. I would consider this very good value for money. The setting is lovely and we gained a deeper understanding of a small family run on a volcanic mountain and came with a glass of and small amount of snacks. There is parking within the once you get there. This last Sunday my partner and I had the most wonderful and amazing afternoon at bodega los lirios. We bought the picnic (comes with the tour, around 45min long), which I personally loved. I could feel the care, dedication and passion towards this amazing family project/business. I learned a lot about and the picnic was spectacular. I’ll repeat for sure! 10000% recommended. I loved this place. Small scale, family owned business. Our host was very knowledgeable and informative. Generous with the which was wonderful. The food, which was locally produced, was full of flavour. It was a highlight of our trip. The was really great! Learn about the vineyards, different types of & how they’re made. We did the 3 wines & had white, rose and red! They were fantastic - rose was my favourite! It was accompanied by a cheese board with some cheeses & dips. Was a and Carlota was a guide! Thanks guys! We had a wonderful at this beautiful vineyard. Carlotta welcomed us with open arms and shared an informative and totally transparent tour. At the end of the tour, we had delicious snacks and a glass of wine. The location was stunning, the service was amazing, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island and looking for something unique to do.
