This place is a must NOTE: if there's no water running of the mountain on the roadside then the rock pool WILL be dried up. Still an incredible hike up, not an easy hike. The beginning is sign posted with a wooden post We did the loop clock-wise, so that the steep incline is at the beginning (recommend to do so). Definitely download the map (Alltrails) because the route is barely marked and it's easy to take a wrong turn. When you reach this little pool at the beginning, you have to cross it and then go up (we just continued up before the pool as it seemed to have a proper trail but ended up on a random cliff and it was hard! to get down again). The descent has a lot of loose gravel and rocks, easy to fall, so make sure you have proper shoes.
