Friendly service and great food in a lovely place! Really nice! Great smoked fresh eel. The garden surrounded by the smell of smoke from a smokehouse creates an ideal atmosphere. A calm interior with local decorations. Very friendly staff, amazing location. Nice to sit outside on the terrace or inside. They even have Irish beer on tap! We had tasty homemade cake and coffee. The menu looked great too! Idyllic small cafe/restaurant with nice drinks and food. Relaxed 😊 My girlfriend found this little gem just by pure chance and we went there for a very unexpected evening. It is a small but very lovingly decorated and atmospheric place with a pure hearted host and staff of the old and sadly decaying empathic gastronomy school. We felt truly welcome and at home here. And the food was savory and lovely and full of new ideas of normally ordinary dishes. An especially great surprise to me was the availability of irish Murphys ale from the tab... people who know of the class and rarity of this ale in Germany or the Netherlands will know of my delight. In the end, we can only say thank you Friezinn for making our day, and all the best for the future with your little gem among the dutch dunes! We felt like coming home. The place is a little gem close to the sea and the drive through the dike is also quite unique. We ordered vega burgers with homemade fries and vega balls made from mushrooms. We topped it off with some apple pie and local cookie and coffee. We liked the Irish connection as well. Good selection of beer/wine. Everything was perfect. ✨️ Just what we were looking for. Typical food from the Netherlands and quality. we ate smoked goose and local beer. Thank you for your hospitality. Spent our 1 year anniversary here tonight & loved the food! Had a nice few conversations with Douwa (hope I got the name right) & I’m looking forward to visiting again & trying the next menu next time I’m over from Scotland. I had the shepherds pie & partner had the Entrecote met oester. Delicious! local ingredients too makes it an even more loveable place. Shepherds pie came in a little cast iron dish too which kept it warm for aaaaaages! Excellent! Highly recommended! Oh and yes we ate the 30 day old pea plant! lol Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
