There, People goes and tour for half an hour (book on advance) and learns about the zone, some historic facts, all sorrounded by more than 50 cats. They lie on the beach as well as everywhere. A cat lovers must! We had a lovely visit with Andreas and met all the cats. He showed us around and let us take some photos on the beach with the furry residents. The only thing that made us sad was seeing all the in the cage. Some of them were so friendly and loving and beautiful, surely adoption would be a better option for them than life in a cage? I keep thinking about one cat who was desperate for cuddles and feeling a bit melancholy. But sadness aside a wonderful place to visit if you’re in the area. Si arriva praticamente sulla spiaggia, vi é un piccolo parcheggio sulla destra e a 50 metri si arriva da Andrea il proprietario e responsabile della colonia. Una bellissima esperienza per chi ama i gatti e per chi ama la loro compagnia. Sono circa 30 i gatti presenti divisi in vari settori in base alle loro esigenze. Andrea si da molto da fare per seguirli e curarli e soprattutto li ama alla follia. Ci sarebbe da dire un infinità di cose ma rovinerebbe la sorpresa. Chiamate Andrea prenotate la visita portate come voi tanto cibo da donare e immergetevi in questa meravigliosa favola. Bellissimi gatti molto socievoli di diversi colori . Tutti avevano un nome, sono super coccolosi, mio figlio si è divertito un sacco a giocare con loro,. Il proprietario è molto gentile. Irina and Andrea have created an amazing cat haven, and a heaven for cat lovers! All fifty are named and loved, and are obviously very happy in this little corner of paradise! Only Guido and one other wanted to come down to the beach with us today, and that was clearly following their beloved mumma Irina! I appreciate how the individual nature of each cat is respected and there is no pressure for them to 'perform' for visitors. Lovely also to see collection of coral art by Andrea's father who established this sanctuary in 1961. Hosts are very friendly, they will tell you everything about livinig in Su Pallosu.
