I actually joined Is Benas Surfs chool in 2018 but I forgot about it until stumbling across my old holiday snaps which reminded me how AMAZING it was and had to leave a review. Unfortunately you need a car to get anywhere but luckily I met a girl on my first day also a solo traveller and we buddied together and went around exploring and surfing together I stayed in the house for 6-7 days and got 5 days of lessons which were incredible. The house was like a family home I hung out with everyone, ate together and one night they had ppl over and we played on the arcade machine. Every morning the instructor took us to this hotel to get free lunch (I think his relative owned it?). After breakfast we'd go down to the beach to have a short theoretical lesson then off we go for a few hours! It took me 3 days to paddle and stand up on my own and it felt amazing. The instructors were patient and supportive. One night we rented the SUP and paddled for nearly an hour to have a party in a secret beach where we lit a bonfire under the full moon. The entire holiday was one of the best holidays I've ever been on! Vincenzo and Marco are very experienced coaches. They not only teach you the right stuff, they take care of you phisically and mentally. Really good people. Excellent school. I thouroughly recommend this school to all wannabe surfers around the world. Amazing club! Staff is friendly and professional. I had one beginners class with Vincenzo. He explained us a bit of theory before going into the water. The class was 2 hours so we had plenty of time to practice. Vincenzo was helpful and professional and so was Marco and all the people from the staff I interacted with. I would highly recommend Is Benas Club! Marco and Vincenzo are very friendly and kind and have great knowladge. They give you great tips, for both beginner surfers and advanced surfers. I highly recomend them. I went two times and I will be back for sure. Patient, fun and experienced teachers. Great for all children, couples and solo travellers. Good group sizes. Beautiful beaches, calm region, mellow waves in summer. Very gracious with their equipment outside of class and alternative programms (biking/SUP) in case there are no waves. This is more than a surfschool, this is Sardinian family!❤️ Ti amo! I had my very first lesson with Marco and I learned really much and had so much fun. Definetely recommend going there. Now in Pre-season we were only 5 people so the course was more intense. Also, ask Marco for trip recommendations in the area! Wonderful experience! We walked in for a lesson with the family (2 adults and 2 children aged 11 and 7). The crew is super friendy and experienced. The lesson was really helpful for all of us, even though some of us were beginners and others already had some experience. After the lesson we went back a couple of times to rent a board. The school is one of a kind . Both theory and practice give you full insight about . 100% suggested . Absolute recommendation! I spontaneously got a place on a 4-day course. It was a wonderful, inspiring and motivating atmosphere - both in our interactions on land and during the theory sessions, as well as in the sea. Both are very uncomplicated, funny and spread a good mood (sometimes you need it if you don't get the wave 😉). The courses were small and so the coaches were able to take good care of everyone and give feedback. It was so much fun and I will definitely be back! Arriviamo in Is Arenas School e troviamo un’oasi di pace, dove si sentono le vibes del surf, difficile da spiegare a parole, sorrisoni, gratitudine… insomma un ambiente davvero fantastico. Marcolino e Vincenzo si rivelate fin da subito due grande persone disponibili che sanno quel che fanno e soprattutto vivono di , il che non è scontato , ormai i miei mentori, dei professionisti in tutti i sensi, sempre pronti a darti consigli e a spingerti a migliorare. Tutti gli istruttori che ho visto all’interno de Is Benas veri e propri surfisti, chi fa gare ecc. È il posto migliore dove apprendere e appassionarsi a questa fantastica disciplina. Hanno un parco tavole della madonna, che solo a vederle come sistemate, viene voglia di surfare. Così come per le mute, se si è freddolosi ci le mute più pesanti e viceversa se si soffre di più il caldo. Si vede che ci mettono PASSIONE in ciò che fanno, ed è la cosa più sana e bella che ci sia. Es ist die absolut beste Surfschool wo ich jemals gewesen bin. Von der Theorie bis zur Praxis, wird die Leidenschaft für das Meer, die Natur, das Surfen vermittelt. Alessandro Staffa, Chiara Procaccini, Vincenzo Ingletto and Marcolino Fenu, team members of the taught me the not only how to with an excellent teaching method, but also the pure meaning of this amazing spiritual way of life. Their approach to the culture is the purest I have never met around the world. They do not consider people as numbers, the care of them, they listen them, they try to give some more to improve our human evolution. Their respect for nature is absolutely great, their love for Sardinia Island is huge and they were predestinated to be live coaches in the Hawaii 🌺 of Mediterranean Sea. I have been an aficionado of this school for more than 10 years now. All my children, nephews, friends and relatives have been through their amazing sessions.
