The roman baths are a fantastic thing to see and the whole place is very quiet and low key. You can still see frescos on the walls. Then there is a section of the river nearby where you can sit in the hot springs for free. Lots of parking is available and there is a bar next door. You can see all there is to see without a ticket. The site maps and QR codes are completely unreadable from age and sun damage. It is closed for a long period during lunch, but you can view it all through the chain length fence. The thermal waters are fed to the river via a pipe. There is a snack cafe and camp grounds. Visited the area in the summer of 2021. This archeological site is a good place to familiarize yourself with the Roman influence on the island. The English audio guide was quite good. Got an entrance ticket on the spot and immediately entered the site, that was during the low tourism period during the pandemic. Nowadays it could be more busy and there might be some waiting time. To enter and walk around the ruins costs €6 per person. For a walk that takes just 10 minutes. We observed many visitors who just looked over the surrounding wire mesh fence to take photos as we did There were 4 of us together and €24 is just too much to see old ruins. Not long ago the Roman basins were used for washing dishes and laundry by the local people. Still a place to bath in warm where the stream passes by at the other side of the path. Probably the hot from the natural spring has been meeting the cold of the Tirzo for centuries. The Roman basins are now protected and open for visite. Nearby you can have a warm sandwich and a cold glas of beer at a friendly little bar in the open under olive and oak trees. The digsite is mildly interesting, but for 5€ you get an adult ticket and audio guide. With that said, I highly recommend going there, and bring swim suits! Support the digsite by buying a ticket and then take a bath in the creek outside where they release the hot spring water. Careful not to burn yourself on the very hot water.
