Temporary greens, disruption ans diggers for many many months. All for developers. Down to 1 star if this goes ahead. No way is it right to put a road through a PARK. The course is constantly improving. Its not short! Aside from the clubhouse you can Grab a bacon roll off Arthur in the hut by the driving range as you go round. Visited for first time on Friday 22nd August with my son tor the opening day of their new putt / crazy golf facility. Had a lovely warm welcome and the new facility is great but a little over priced in my opinion. Was £12 for me and £8 for my son. That’s a little steep (again, in my opinion) but I appreciate it’s new and needs to be paid for. We’ll definitely come back and there looks like a lot more on offer there with the driving range and of course the main course which we’ll try. Lots on offer food and drink wise too Great course, see Arthur in his hut half way round for a great Bacon butty and a warm drink. DRIVING range has some new equipment. Great course friendly staff Cheshunt park golf course This is our Carers group meeting place in Hertfordshire on a Tuesday morning. Every fortnight. We had a lovely ploughman's lunch. Which cost us £12 each including a tip for the staff It was delicious with homemade scotch eggs and pork pie. Highly recommend service the staff are Great, polite ,friendly and very helpful. I recommend this place for a bite to eat with family and friends. It's a lovely atmosphere here and Reasonable prices. Held a wake at the place bar and restaurant excellent service really lovely staff. Louise and Emma served us all afternoon and were major helpful would really recommend. We popped in and tried booking a function room for my daughter Birthday and was told to talk to the bar staff. We was then rudely told functions start at 40 possibly 50 years of age although it would be ok if children attended one of those parties as there was nothing they could do about that?! I thought it must of been a mistake so made an online enquiry to be called 2 weeks later - no "teenage parties". We normally book the Cheshunt Marriott for our functions but obviously have been looking for a new venue, we will take our custom elsewhere! This should be stated on the website when advertising the functions rooms to save wasting peoples time. Reasonable course. Greens need more care. Fairways need watering. Wear insect repellent. Far too many flies. Would play if tee times elsewhere were scarce. Great course and well maintained.
