For all of the complaints I've read, this swimming pool is not all that bad. It's quite clean and modern. People seem to behave civilly for the most part. The lifeguards seem to do their job. It's not incredibly expensive and there is an option to swim for an hour for those who just want to get in a quick few laps, something I haven't seen in other pools. Unfortunately, there are also several issues, some of which could be improved with simple planning measures. Issue no. 1: the opening hours seem random and do in no way meet the needs of a city this size. Simply having one lane open for a couple people to swim at odd times during swimming courses is objectively frustrating if not idiotic. When I read "1 Bahn", then the pool might as well be closed. But in general, more opening hours for the public would be great. Issue no. 2: the areas for non-swimmers and kids are simply too small and strangely dark. It's not a nice friendly place to teach your child or grandchild how to be safe in the water and swim. Issue no. 3: the water is quite cold, which is probably beneficial for your immune system, but small children will freeze. Some people seem to find the staff unfriendly, but I have never had a problem with them.
