Fabulous cafe with amazing home cooked food- definitely recommend the bacon sandwich which was so large I couldn’t get it all in my camera frame 😂. Great gift shop, prints for sale, library and information about the area. They also have a thriving events calendar which I was able to take part in (viola and piano concert) good location in town and has plenty of parking. Highly recommended! Great community place. I bought a caramel cruffin with a cappuccino coffee for myself and a hot cheese scone, glass of water and a cappuccino coffee for my friend. We stayed a while then wandered around the gallery and then the gift shop. Then went home. Managed to park in their car park out the front of the Ilminster Arts Centre. Lovely place to visit as lots of local artists. Shop you can buy handmade items aswell as a gallery. Workshops available to book and a cafe x I have now visited three times What a beautiful, atmospheric building, to bring to life its many exhibitions of very high calibre photography, paintings, crafts and textiles. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, most certainly a place I would like to visit again!! Attended thewillow Reindeer course with Warren, had a great experience met some lovely people and got distracted by cake and wraps which meant I didn't quite finish my deer. Left with a new skill and willow to finish my deer who is now called Thorin. Thank you all involved for a great day. The cafe was amazing! The view, the staff and the food were all great. My friend is vegan and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate her dietary requirements, making waffle batter just for her and offering to adapt other items on the menu. The chef even came over to ask how the waffles were (which was really good). I can't wait to go back.
