Fantastic area of natural beauty. There is a free parking area suitable for up to 12 vehicles. Picnic benches and tables available to use as well as a grass area for relaxing. You have across the Somerset levels, towards Glastonbury tor and over Bridgwater Bay and hinckley Point. Some beautiful walks available in every direction with lots of wildlife, birds, rare flowers and scenery to take in. Been staying here over night occasionally in my various campers for years. Great little place and awesome view you do get the odd doggers or kids smoking weed in the middle of the night but other than that it's ideal to get away from the Mrs and kids and chill out. Just up the toad from Priddy village, along Pelting Road, sits this beautiful viewpoint Deers leap. With a view that stretches from Crookes Peak, across the Somerset flats, to Glastonbury Tor and Wells, there isn't many that beat it. The serenity here is overwhelming and being here to watch the sun rise and encompass the land below is sunshine is just perfect. There is enough room for 20 vehicles and plenty of bench seating available. It also lies on the West Mendip way walk so plenty of walks can be enjoyed from here, including the beautiful Ebbor Gorge. What stunning scenery, a wonderful place to just sit and relax. You can see for miles, definitely worth a visit. Nice place to visit. It has lovely across the Mendips and you can see as far as Burnham On Sea, and Weston Super Mare. There is plenty of free parking available. Its a nice place to go for a walk with or without any dogs. There is benches for you to sit down and admire the views, and maybe be have a picnic. Fantastic views, there are picnic tables and seats and parking for around 15 cars. Walk with my grandchildren, 8 and 7 years of age plus dog. Beautiful views, easy walking and nature all around. We were there today, ladt week in May. Lots of sheep wandering the land and nesting skylarks on the ground so dog on lead but still a wonderful afternoon. Go up here on a typically cloudy English day, quintessential English countryside is laid out before you. A wonderful view, great for opening your thinking and helping you feel better. Beautiful spot.
