Highly recommend visiting this cosy beautiful authentic pub near Wells. We had sirloin steak, perfectly and delicious. Not sure why but I never had Madri beer and it was amazing. Also our little king Charles Spaniel loved his locally sourced treat which kept him busy throughout our dinner and after :) BTW, the cute little puppy on the pillow is (very close to) the owners puppy who passed 6 weeks ago. food staff and a location. We were more than happy with what we ate and what we paid. Definitely worth a visit, probably best to book a table as it was very busy. place to get a decent meal, all local food to perfection. Has to be the best place I've eaten at in a long time. Good price, good atmosphere, friendly customer service. Highly recommend. Well kept draught beers helped keep us cool too. Will definitely be back. What a brilliant pub! Loved the meals, food. Good range of beer and cider including some local Wookey brews. Nice friendly staff too. Highly recommended, we look forward to returning! The chef does a wonderful job, his food tastes delicious and the portions are so generous. Couldn't fault any of the food we had, tasted amazing and the chef even asked us personally after his shift if we enjoyed his dishes. You can tell from his food that he is passionate about what he does and it truly pays off. If ever in or passing the area we will certainly go out of our way to visit again! Went for a family pub dinner on last day of hols and this place was perfect! We went on steak night and the ribeyes were perfectly and chips and salad were great. Kids meals were also lovely! atmosphere. Thank you 😊 We attended the ring of bells on a Friday night after being recommended it by our hosts at The Old Ford Cottage. It was an excellent recommendation as the food atmosphere and service were great. We had one starter from the main menu, two specials and two desserts. Everything arrived in a timely Was to perfection. I hardly recommend this pub and would definitely go back. This is no slight on the venue as it’s in a tiny village, but you may struggle for parking so get there early or be prepared to hunt for a space 😅 steak and kidney pudding followed by a Manhatten stack washed down by 2 pints of dangerous cider at 8%. Felt like I had been to heavan Traditional and pub and the perfect to place to have a range of meals; light bites and full plates available. The food quality was delicious and the service was excellent! that the produce was local and a range of drinks. Would definitely recommend this pub! Would highly recommend as such a experience had by four generations of family. Celebrating an 83rd birthday and a 60th birthday. The food was outstanding and staff very patient to accommodate all dietary needs and nothing was too much trouble, polite kind and couldn’t fault a thing on our evening out. Thank you so much Ring o Bells My partner and I went here last night, 18th October and sad to say it really was not good. We ended up in the restaurant part after being directed to the wrong table in the bar area, which was fine as it was a bit quieter. No one came to serve us so I went to the bar assuming it was bar order only and ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, beef stroganoff and mushroom tagliatelle and added chicken too. The wrong wine arrived so that was changed and then the food arrived. The tagliatelle was swimming in a liquid, oil maybe and looked revolting. My beef stroganoff was tough and crunchy from the grizzle, looked more like a stew gone wrong and was simply inedible, as were the vegetables that had not been cooked. It was to put it mildly, awful. So we ended up leaving with, and paying for, the wine only. The staff were very apologetic. However, when we got back to our accommodation, another couple there had the same experience, said the food was inedible. No idea what went wrong but they need to get it sorted out pretty quickly. Traditional Sunday Lunch enjoyed at The RingoBells, Wookey today! Had the turkey and was not disappointed at all. Portion sizes were generous and had the trimmings. We also had a Jack’s cider alongside which was just the job. We will be back ❤️ Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
