The slot I attended was fully booked and whilst I did enjoy the event, I did that perhaps there were a bit too many of us. A couple less people would make it a little less squashed inside the sauna. The sea was really far out so we all used the barrels to cool down, it's a shame that the doesn't have a space for at least one more. Overall it was fun and enjoyable and I would definitely go back again to try another one. .....I also used the salt scrub, which did make my skin really soft at Sea Scrub! We'll definitely be back! We recently had the absolute pleasure of visiting Sea Sauna, and it was truly one of the most rejuvenating experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, I felt a deep sense of calm and care. The space itself is beautifully designed….clean, tranquil, and thoughtfully laid out to guide you through the rhythms of heat, cold, and rest. What truly elevated the entire experience, though, was the incredible attendant, Lara. She was warm, attentive, and incredible. Her presence brought a sense of grounding to the whole session. I could that she genuinely cared about creating a meaningful and fun for everyone. And then, as if the wasn’t magical enough, there was the view…looking out over the beautiful Whitstable beach. Watching the waves roll in, with that soft, coastal light filtering through, added something really special. It was the kind of setting that gently pulls you out of your head and back into your body. By the end of the session, I felt not only physically reset but also mentally clear and emotionally lighter. This place, and Lara in particular, have mastered the art of true restoration. I can’t wait to return. It was great!! The only thing I would hvae liked to have known beforehand was to bring an extra towel that you have to sit on in the sauna... we used our towels which were then rendered absolutely useless at the end as they were soaking!! My team travelled from all over the UK to visit Whitstable for a 3 day meeting. 3 of us tried the Sea Sauna. Booking, payment and comms were incredible. The Assistant and her cute dog Winnie welcomed us. We were explained how it all works. What an AMAZING EXPERIENCE. My feet are super soft after the scrub, sauna, ice bucket shower and of course a dip in the sea. I will definitely be returning. If you have any doubts, SQUASH them and go for it. The staff are always informative and helpful and there’s always a chilled out, communal, non-judgmental vibe in the sauna. We managed to fully immersive ourselves into the whole - sauna, salt (I def recommend this) sea swim and cold barrel plunge with bucket over head! I brought a friend as a treat at 1-2 16th July the never went over 60° so it wasn’t great, however the staff were very sweet and apologetic and offered a refund so I look forward to that.
