It's a small farm. for kids. You can have a day out with experience for kids. You can feed the animals, pet them, and even ride on a horse. All the are well tamed. They love to be pet. There's a small play area as well. The entrance is 4 per adult and 3 for above 12 mo. Car parking is free Absolutely brilliant well run urban farm. So much to see and do for the little ones. are a credit to you, the way they are looked after. Food was lovely with a nice ice cream to finish. We will return. Thanks. 🙌 This is a lovely little farm. We will go here again. Looks like they have special needs employees working here, which I just thought was lovely 👍 place to visit, especially for families. Very reasonably priced. I would recommend it. The grandkids loved the horse ride experience. All the are very well cared for. At the end of the day it's a working though and animal products are sold in the shop . The also offers feeding opportunities, which added a lot to the experience, especially for the kids. You can buy animal feed at the entrance, and it’s such a joy to see the up close. Play Areas and Family-Friendly Fun: There are two well-maintained playgrounds – one for younger children and another with more challenging equipment, which kept my entertained for hours. The tractor rides were a highlight for us, and they also offer a petting area where children can handle smaller like rabbits and guinea pigs. Accessibility and Staff: The is well laid out, and we found it very accessible for prams and wheelchairs. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient, always happy to answer questions and help the engage with the animals. Value for Money: Admission prices are very reasonable, and considering all the activities available, it offers excellent value. We spent almost the whole day there without getting bored, and the children were already asking when we could come back! Overall, Acorn is a hidden gem in Kirkby. They have fantastic people who bring the to life polite and helpful.We were at the funday on Saturday and we all had a fantastic time.They boy’s absolutely loved all the stalls and horse riding.I thought the cost for the whole day was absolutely spot on for a family looking to having a good day out without the worry of cost. The never fails to amaze me with the selection on offer.
