I really liked it and the buildings around it, like a very old church and small houses with interesting roofs. But, maybe you know France, if not, almost no place to have lunch in the afternoon Nice old chateau fort in the middle of a charming little town. Too bad they shortened the walls and towers, though given the disrepair over the centuries probably makes walking under the ramparts a lot safer. Park and take a hike along the Orge river to the nearby forest, the former royal hunting grounds since the days of Hugh Capet, the first King of the Franks. A visiter beau donjon (interieur et belle vue en haut) / tour ducale, remparts, logis reamenage en neogothique au XIXe. Globalement intéressant en histoire locale et architecture. Quelques très jolies pieces de mobilier. Prévoir une heure en mode assez rapide et nettement prenan .le temps le temps surtout si meteo favorable a flâner et bonne visibilité. Les extérieurs sont visibles de l'intérieur de la cours sans payer la visite. Nous nous sommes garés sur le parking de la mairie afin de passer sur la place du marché, par les petites rues pavée, pour visiter l'église et le château. Belle journée en famille. Very interesting castle, situated in the beautiful old town centre. Well worth a visit. Absolutely fantastic, steeped with history, magnificent furnishings and very informative, great views, very good value for money. 13 euros for 2 adults and 4 children. Amazing 😍 Everything was so well conserved, the history was wonderful. I really fell in love Excellent museum and nicely preserved with interesting displays. My one issue was that the Museum entrance looked CLOSED from the outside, although it was not, which was a shame as several people had to ask us how we got into the exhibits from the outside. Les extérieurs sont intéressants (visite des remparts, petit jardin de plantes médicinales, cour intérieure, donjon) et les intérieurs très bien conservés, avec beaucoup d'œuvres, de mobilier, d'objets et de photos à admirer sur plusieurs étages.
