Nice stop Imagine a ( camping car only) rural idyll next to a town........well this is it, birds singing, wind gently blowing through the trees, a bit of traffic noise in the background during the day, but quiet at night. I chose a spot that was not under the large tree canopy, as I did not want any tree debris or tree sap on my roof. 10 minutes of is purchaseable as an extra, via credit card. Electricity was working & OK. The only problem with the facilities is that there is no means to directly flush out your toilet cassette, you have 2 options to do that. Option 1: pay extra & use the freshwater (ugh) or use your own camping car fresh system. The aire is bookable in advance via the town website & you put down a €2 deposit & get a number code to use at the machine at the gate. There is an Aldi & Lidl & petrol station just up the road from the site. The town itself has some interesting old houses a nice church & market on wednesdays at least. Good location for visiting the city. Park in the far back if you like quiet. Good pizza restaurant across the street and grocery stores are a 3 minute walk. Be careful!!! This campsite is just for caravans! No toilets, no shower, no ( although you pay für it)!!! It's a former municipal campsite but is now a campingcar aire. EHU (10amp), grey and black waste dumping are included in the price but not fresh which has to be paid for seperately. One thing to note - Satellite tv is impossible due to dense plane tree cover. A good few interesting places to visit around town. When we arrived 3months ago this site was closed. We paid 5euros to use the services which were non existent, so lost our money. Beware.x I paid for the entrance and for fresh at the machine. But it won't give me fresh water. I just went there because I needed water.... I came here with my Minicamper and the only thing I need is a bathroom at least a sink. Well, all facilities are locked and it looks like it will not open again soon because the doors are welded into the frame. It is not worth mentioning but showers or WiFi is also some luxury which is not included. 11,66€ for what? A place to stand under a way to bright light. Every parking lot on a highway has more to offer. Spacious places with electricity in what looks like a little park. Check-in goes very well. Only 11 € for this nice location not far from the centre. Supermarkets in vicinity. Don’t understand the comments about closed toilets: this is a CP! Wish would all towns have such CP on walking distance from the centre.
