Long waiting for serving hot dishes. I can't say how good this place is. It's exceptional. I booked an extra night as it is such a environment to stay. My dinner was great. The dark beer was and the staff are great. Good surroundings and easy to find. I randomly found this place while exploring Lithuania, and I definitely recommend you to go. The hotel is refurbished and the room are cozy and relatively cheap. You have access to a small spa with swimming pool and wet sauna. As for the food I really liked it as well. The shaslyk was juicy and the portion was pretty big. I like the way it was served rolled in lavash. It came with Theo types of sauce, salad and tasty rice. Count 14 euros. The breakfast was 9 euros and you could choose different option including egg Benedict + they give coffee/tea and a pie for dessert. Overall the location is cozy and calm, the staff was friendly and spoke in English. I was remote working and the wifi was stable and fast enough. Food is tasty and served nice, stuff is extremelly friendly. Maybe the price is a bit higher than expected from such remote location, but kitchen is really nice. You can tell this from many occupied tables any time of day. I would recommend a try. Somehow this can't be values as a near road somewhere in village, it has it's style and kitchen, food preparation is already something different. We (tried to have) lunch/ dinner at the restaurant. Despite lesser crowd the could not cope with the requests, and our first drinks arrived only after one hour. The meal - pasta -in 90 minutes... Meat dish - almost in two hours... (and it was less than half of the - almost none people outside) . One of us left without a dish (ribs) at all, yet, the price was put on the bill....The food (pasta/ meat skewers ('šašlykai'), etc. was mediocre yet, very nicely served. / The waitress agreed to change the bill (after checking with the kitchen whether the ribs were served or not) and put all the blame on the kitchen, noting, that it 'happens all the time', and did not apologize or looked for any other solutions. Mentioned the fact, that although the 'owner himself works at the restaurant, this does not help much' / and she did not allow me to see the owner or any other person, who could make any reasonable proposal (take a way dish; discount; or just simple 'sorry'). So, from our side, I don't say never again, but most likely would avoid this place if customer services stays as it is.... Very nice and beautiful place to stay at. The room was very clean and nice. is serving a and delicious food. Not much to do without a car tho. The village is very small. There is an AC in the room which is the best thing during the summer. Lovely place and food. I went with a very big group(16 to be exact), and the service was absolutely amazing. It was my nieces 1st birthday and they even sang happy birthday. They have a lovely outdoor area as well as a little kids corner, which my niece loved. service and food experiences. Everything made from scratch - fresh and tasty :) one thing would be the more nicer, if sauna and swimming pool would be in the room price in the evening as well, not only in the morning for two hours. But it do not changes anything about the excelent experience.
