We also share a "Chivito Canadiense" consisting in a large portion of chips, "ensalada rusa" a mix of boiled potato, carrots and peas with mayonnaise, a little salad of lettuce an tomato, and on top of it a warm ham and cheese and fry egg and a thin steak. Accompany by an Uruguayan red wine, we tried a Cabernet Sauvignon, bear in mind Tanat is the typical wine from Uruguay and it is very strong. For the desert we had a Flan. The only good thing about them is the dough but the filling was way below average. 2 for 7.5 euro !!! The dough is very nice, the filling is horrific, both the cheese and the minced meat. The place was clean. We ordered and a plate with meat , fries and egg. The were freshly made, and warm. Great pastry but pretty expensive to get 3 for almost 12 Euro... The other dish had some salad , fries (MC Donald style) , one sunny side well cooked egg and the slice of meat. The price was decent for the plate but looking the restaurant and the prices before you enter you expect to get better dishes... And not pre cooked fries (like Mac Donald fries) ... The desserts are amazing I had a meat empanada at a flohmarkt and I can't stop thinking about it! Service was great too. I will look for this place next time I'm in Berlin :) Hoy dia estaba en el Mercado de Mauerpark con mi hijo de dos años y fui a comprar una empanada para el. Le pregunto a la señora que quiero una empanada de jamón queso y me dice son dos por 7€. Luego le comento que quiero solo una por que es para mi hijo, que con 2 años obviamente no puede comer dos y la señora me responde “son dos por 7€“ literalmente con muy mal tono y ninguna disposición de explicar nada al cliente y decir de buena manera que lamentablemente no es posible comprar solo una, al contrario, fue muy ruda e mal educada en su respuesta, aparte de cobrar un precio desproporcionado por empanadas, solo por que es un mercado con mas turistas. Si quieren comer vayan a otro lugar, yo soy Sudamericano y hay mucho mejores en Berlin y con gente que trata bien a sus clientes. En conclusión, horrible e irrespetuoso trato con el cliente solo por que saben que van a vender igual y es el primer lugar en mi vida en el que no se puede comprar una sola empanada.
