We had a lovely stay at this family-friendly park in a fantastic location. We stayed in a two-bedroom static caravan with a hot tub, which was spacious, well-maintained, and of good quality. The hot tub was a great size and felt nicely private. At 10pm, staff politely reminded us to turn off any music and keep noise to a minimum out of respect for other guests, which we appreciated, as we were looking forward to a peaceful night’s sleep ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There’s a pub on site that looked welcoming, although we didn’t get a chance to use it. The park is in a great spot, conveniently close to both Morpeth and Alnwick. While we were there, a scarecrow competition was taking place, we took part and had loads of fun! Wonderful caravan and hosts. Very little to do. Reception never open to ask questions to. Club house and golf never open. Disappointed in that, but everything else great. Lovely site and well maintained. We stayed in a beautiful, clean lodge with a hot tub. It was a peaceful week away during the summer holidays. The site was very relaxing. Our puppy loved the secure field and any walks around the site to meet other pooch friends, which there were lots of! Location was a 20-30 min drive to nearby beaches, which was perfect. Daily visits from the ice cream van were a winner for our daughter. It was nice putting on the petting zoo for children in the reception house. We’re hopeful to return in the near future. Check in was from 4pm but reception closed at 5, had to wait for park ranger until 6 to get keys. Caravan was nothing like photos on website, was pretty basic inside. Nothing to clean the inside. Bed sheets had big dirty yellow/brown stains and black hairs on them. All carpets and furniture had stains all over. Hot tub had alot of floaters from trees overhead. Not very private, looking into neighbouring caravens on all side, very close together. Booked for 3 nights but left after one. Rang and text ranger to inform of departure, 4 hours later still no reply.
