It was alright food... Got the southern fried chicken flatbread and it was quite dry and the chicken overdone but it was just for lunch... Found it to be quite reasonably priced but something's were pricey for what they were... Asked for drinks and dessert but took ages once we'd had our mains... All being said, it was alright for lunch but there are similar places nearby... My partner and I have visited this establishment several times, and we are quite fond of it. The menu always offers appealing choices, and we have already developed a few favorites. We recently enjoyed a Sunday dinner there and found the to be quite delightful; we would certainly return for another Sunday roast. The are consistently attentive to my partner's food allergy and always provide helpful service. The prices are quite reasonable, and I never feel that we have overspent. It is very rare we have a bad and if there is an issue the are always helpful and resolve the issue. However, our last 2 visits, seemed to very thin on the ground. We waited a long time to place our order, people that came in after us seemed to be getting their meals and we had not even ordered yet. Whilst waiting it did give me a chance to people watch and I did notice one young girl constantly on the go. She was taking orders, serving drinks, serving food, clearing tables; she never stopped other than her and a young lad serving drinks i never noticed anyone else working the full restaurant. I later found out that this young girl was called Grace. Grace you are worth your weight in gold. It wasn't just today I noticed how hard you work, I also noticed on our last visit too. You were so busy yet you still had a smile on your face and provided 100% customer service. I dont normally leave reviews but I feel Grace deserves recognition for a job well done! We had such a time at this beautiful venue! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, and the food was absolutely delicious — every dish was cooked to perfection. Huge thanks to Nicola and Ellis behind the bar for their and energy, and to Chefs Jim and Jackson for the amazing meal. Everything from start to finish was spot on. We bought a Sunday roast with the slow cooked rib - came out looking like someone had stuck a bone in a tin of pedigree chum - and in honesty that’s doing dog food a disservice. Chicken tasted funky too. When asked for the peas to not come with a we were told that wasn’t possible as the food was pre-made. I hadn’t expected much from a pub-chain but this was really rock-bottom. Fortunately the manager was gracious enough to remove the poor quality food from the bill.
