Sasso Pisano is a lovely little town too. Tiny lovely place with mixed geo-thermal water, next to a picturesque village nested on a big rock (Sasso Pisano). Can get crowded on summer weekends Great natural swimming with water from the hot springs in the area. There is a warm (36 degrees celcius) connecting into a colder pool, and finally a very nice natural lake where you can swim. There are shower facilities and a snack bar. Swimming caps are a must, but can be bought on site. You have an excellent view of Sasso Pisano's medieval old town towering on the rocks above you. We are travelling in our motor home and stayed in sasso pisano for 3 days. We were fortunate to have had use of the facilities during our stay. The and associated relaxing areas were clean and well presented and staff were fantastic. Local residents were welcoming and friendly.
