We loved the cosy lounge ambiance and the quirkiness of the bar from flowers to bicycles on display. If you are looking for locals and lots of faces, be sure to visit over the weekend, great music and vibe. Definitely recommend visiting Bar Carsija while you are in Bitola, you won't be disappointed, it has become a local spot for us to enjoy evening cocktails with the team and friends. Cozy and delicious coffee "Bar Carsija" is an antic local customized at the moment in a coffeehouse and a former Ottoman Turkish Turkish -han or Konak a type of guest house and a place in Ottoman times for travelers and their caravans. I'm a bit of a history nerd and dream of having drinks immersed in history in an ancient locale. This cosy, atmospheric spot in The Old Bazaar hit it to a tee. Built in the restored remains of a hammam, sitting in the small courtyard just put the main gate transports you back to The Ottoman Empire. So many neat little touches have been added to make this a place where you could lounge for hours: fresh flowers everywhere, odd little signs and pictures, a bicycle, so many random things that add to the quirky utter coolness of this place. The chamber-like interior is equally atmospheric and there are a lot of places to sit, and even darts. The drinks are reasonably priced, the service is and they play fantastic music. Depending on what you're looking for, you might want to show up in the late afternoon, early evening if you want it quiet and chill. If you want a more crowded and young scene, come later in the evening. In any case, don't leave Bitola or North Macedonia without spending a few hours here. On just atmosphere alone, this is one of the most amazing places I've ever had drinks. HIGHLY recommend. Even though this place is a bit further from the town center and all the main Cafe's, it still manages to attract a comfortable amount of people making it perfect for a meeting with friends, having a few drinks or some Turkish coffee. It is not the largest place in town, and the coffee is not the best but it's low prices and unique surroundings in the old Bazaar make it very enjoyable especially when you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Weekends can be fun especially when there is a band or a DJ, but can get a bit crowded at those times.
