On chilly evenings, the fireplace became our favorite gathering spot, where the crackling of the firewood and the soft glow of the flames created a perfect setting for family stories and laughter. Sidney opens up his home to guests (3 guest bedrooms, 1 bathroom) and was a great host. makes you feel very comfortable as if at your own home. is very charming, well taken care of and secluded in quiet area. you can drive to nearby sites in the Normandy area. fireplace in the evening, as well as the sauna were nice amenities to help you enjoy! would definitely recommend We LOVE Sidney's historic French farmhouse. Really well thought out, mixing tradition with modern amenities, including a new fully appointed bathroom, sauna and easy to use modern Aga. Loved it and will return for longer!! I had this great opportunity to be a guest at Sidney's place (Cottage les Forières). This is a charming country with an interior decorated with attention to detail. The surrounding area is exceptionally beautiful and peaceful - you can fully relax and get a great night's sleep. Sidney is a very friendly and communicative host who was happy to suggest to us what places in the area to visit. By the way, it was really worth visiting :) I really recommend this place - thank you Sidney! 😊 An amazing place to stay. The is absolutely beautiful and well designed. It is very cozy at the fireplace and has a great kitchen. The garden is just as beautiful with the trees, the grass and the vegetable garden. Sidney is one of the most friendly and helping hostsyou’ll come across. This is a very impressing place. We had a lovely stay at Sidney’s place. Sidney is a friendly and interested host. We stayed one night as a stopover during our trip to normandy. And then, spontaneously, also on our way back home. We texted Sidney and he had a room available. He really has made a cosy and tidy place in this cottage. Very impressive! From the sauna, to the fireplace and the kitchen everything is so nice. Highly recommend staying here. We were also lucky enough to meet two other couples, and together with Sidney and them we cooked dinner and had so much fun. The evenings at Sidney’s did our holiday. We would love to come back. We made a VERY last-minute booking for just one night. Sidney communicated quickly, which was so helpful. We were only there for a night, literally to sleep, but really wish we could’ve stayed longer. The is gorgeous, so warm and welcoming. I had an early morning wander around his lovely garden too.
