Standing on the with the towering cliffs I can only imagine what was going through these young soldiers minds. The landing was an impossible task, pebble full backpack and weapons weighing them down feet sinking into the pebbles, its horrific what they went through. I never heard of Puys until we got there waiting for the ferry home from Dieppe, I will never forget the sacrifices these young men made in the name of freedom.
