Wev been to every coastal place from belgium to fecamp and this is one of the most beautifull places we have visited. It has it all: Beatifull scenery A free library on the beach A play ground for children on the beach A free public swimming pool for children on the beach Lifeguards A high cuisine food stand Historical world war 2 memoria Clean toilets It even has a very friendly doctor 😄 This place is truly amazing. You have to park your car outside the center though for longer then 30 minutes. There are 2 free parking places, both on each side of the clifs. But i guess this is a justified requirement to maintain the beauty of this place. Absolutely beautiful very welcoming with a great selection of bars and restaurants along this stunning coastline with history relating to D day including a monument One of the best beaches to swim at low tide, kids adore it. Where the river flows into the sea, the water is much colder. Pleasant place to relax and enjoy the view. Does have sand but not a lot. It's better when tide is low. Children's play area, plenty of seating and an expensive bar/cafe close. Very short walk to village centre to enjoy more. Lovely place but crowded at the harbour parking. We could easily free park at the memorial parking and had a nice walk to the city centre/shore side. It was fun to see the smallest river of France into the sea. Don't be mistaken this is NOT a sandy beach. You can only see the sand during low tide. The public toilets were not working. Other than that nice views from the coastal viewpoints.
