Good place to exercise & a day oot for the bairn's or a dog walk watching football game!! Good when dry for taking young kids. Good for small teams to do 5 aside ect Great for kids I like the because it is always kept tidy and clean , I pass through on my way to the Johnstone hub, I don't really visit any other time as I don't have any reason. They have quite a nice looking play area for small children and there are football pitches and I have done a bit of running on the grass round one of the pitches. Very good for dog walk and family fun . just a with two football pitches and a children's play covered in broken glass and dog excitement. piss poor for a main in a town the size of johnstone. council seem to spend the bare minimum of resources on this park. Could be a nice but constantly has broken glass all over the pathways, litter everywhere and although the bins are seen being emptied regularly, the mess thats left not in bins is ignored. Shame. Poorly maintained paths, dangerous to walk on, deep potholes. No seats. Loads of litter & broken glass over pathways and on grass areas. Children's swings, otherwise nothing of interest. Flower beds removed. Pond filled in. Needs to be better looked after. It's a great place to walk dogs, but it also attracts people possible underaged kids drinking and there is broken glass so not safe for anymore. Not good for wheelchair users either. I use my scooter when I go there but with the uneven path and broken glass I don't even feel safe. Bottom pitch was in poor condition. Massive wear at the goal mouth - worn down to hard base and full of stones and massive puddle. huge hole at the penalty spot. Grass was too long and was holding up the ball. Being disabled and having to use sticks to get around, this is perfect. I can at the Community centre end and let the dog out the car, sit on the tailgate and throw his ball for him. He gets the exercise he needs and I am able to enjoy taking him out, with out the worries of having to try to walk. A fantastic green space.. Since it was upgraded a few yrs ago, I take my 2 grandkids there every weekend and they love it the fairground was excellent also keep up the brilliant work Ur doing. Xx Nice enough place since it was done up from my time spent there as a child. The lack of a public toilet though is a drawback! Nice park. My kids love it .
