Sorry, Barry. I genuinely hate to review lower than your expectations here and I have given it a great deal of thought before reluctantly posting this. We got on very well and you’re a very likeable guy. I had my first with you about 4.5 years ago and it was too light, and still made me look bald. You listened to my concerns and did a darker top up on my second which was a lot better but still too light, but I’m not one for confrontation (and even you a PS4) out of friendship and respect. I came back for a top up and didn’t complain. I just wanted to make sure I kept the pigment looking as dark as possible and asked you to fill in beard alopecia which you did and it looked great. I returned one last time for a top up of my head and new beard alopecia spot but you had forgotten that you had did the tiny beard alopecia spot for me in the past free of charge (in under 10 mins) and told me that this would need 2 more sessions, charging me £50 extra, stating that you were very busy right now and would get back to me but never did. I also requested a darker top up this time which you refused to do out of concern for it looking like a helmet but it’s just because you didn’t do enough on the sides and back on the first or any other afterwards. Once dotted on sides and back 4.5 years later is like having nothing at all. I’m now losing my pigment 1.5 years on from my last visit and other pigmentation services are all quoting sky high prices in the thousands telling me that they need to redo my entire head as the side and back were only dotted once at the very beginning (4.5 years ago), which I agree with but also feel like it’s becoming such a scammy business My only option is to now return to my natural state which has been a little traumatising having paid thousands for this to go well. I’ve been surprised at the lack of follow up considering how well we got on but can also understand how busy you are, so I wish you all the best with no hard feelings. I just feel like if I knew what I know now, I’d never have did this and assumed that most unhappy customers simply feel uncomfortable (as do I) to write any kind of negative review around this kind of therapy. Maybe? I had the immense pleasure of with Barry at Skulltec. Barry is just an amazing trainer, tones of experience, multi-award-winning artist in UK, what else could I ask for? The has been fantastic, well structured, thorough, fun and Barry taught me plenty in the time we've spent together at the clinic. 5 stars is not enough. Not only he shared his knowledge, he me equipment and lots, I mean lots of things to take back home so that I will not need to buy anything to get started. Barry is a fantastic human being, a tremendous trainer and a very Scalp Micropigmentation Artist. I believe his reviews speak volumes. I would take this course over and over again without hesitation. I could not enough, the is superior to any other in the UK. Barry is really knowledgeable & a master at his craft. He explained the procedure, from to finish, he put no pressure on me in terms of making a decision. I'm delighted I choose to get SMP done. The whole course felt very well-structured and fluid. On day 1 I arrived to a table full of top of the range equipment that Barry had ordered for me - all of this was included in the course. (Evolution Hair Falkirk was the first guy to do it he is a 🔔 end ) Saturated my head with ink and put pigment in to deep and went a mad blue colour !
