A small volunteer-run city with amazingly staff who love showing people around and talking about their animals. The complex is clearly in need of some investment but serves its purpose well and shouldn't put people off visiting. I'll definitely be going back. Had a lovely wee hour in this very welcoming wee farm. Lots of variety of rescued with lamas, pig, sheep, geese, chickens , guinea pigs, ducks horse donkey and pony. A very young man took us round (didn't catch his name but he is in p7) and told us all the animal names and all about the farm. Very thoughtful touch giving us a guide about helping out with my son to touch the animals. Very well deserving of donations if you can!! Will be back! Good to take kids to see the they can get to handle the Guinea pigs, rabbits etc, wee field there too with horses, donkeys, lemas & pigs in it.. Small place so you won't be there for long but good for wee outing & it's free there's wee donation buckets there you can stick few pound to help out as it is a charity run place. I had a ton of fun at Lamont with my wife today. They have a plethora of living happily including goats, lamas, ducks, chicken, horses, and shetland ponies. The volunteers are incredibly friendly, was a great atmosphere. Lamont doesn't even have an entry cost, so I think it is a great project to donate to via the website if you can afford. Especially considering many of the have been rescued. Thanks for a great day. Ill be back for sure! Fantastic place run by volunteers. Definitely worth a visit Absolutely love this wee gem of a place. Great volunteers and the are just sooo cute. Definitely would recommend a visit! Not saying you shouldn’t donate money, but don’t go for a visit. I saw other posts about how the staff were and helped little kids interact with the animals. That was not our experience at all A very nice place, volunteer ran and they were all lovely and very happy to help. The are great and mostly very friendly, but the big bad goose didn't like me 🤣 but we had a lovely time there. There's not a lot to see, but what there is is fun. Good as part of a bigger day out. Great wee place to take the kids. We're out Paisley direction a lot, so we've popped in here 3 times in the last fortnight and spent about an hour here each time. Its not big, but lovely to see the animals, sometimes they're walking about the courtyard too, and then we take a wander up the back fields to see the horses and sheep. Take your time and enjoy the peace and quiet whilst meeting the ❤️ xx When me and my family went the were very nice and Jacob one of the stuff was very lovey and he give us a tour around.
