Lots of choice, really quality products, and a place to simply spend time. We enjoyed and had lots of fun! FIKA : this is the real deal! Started 1903 over 100 years of Fika ! The best, its in the center of Malmö. There is a picture of information when its open etc.. Hollandia is one of my go-to places for Fika! They offer a fantastic selection of pastries, and their freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious, which is why I enjoy visiting. I wish it was dog-friendly, and I’m giving 4/5 stars because the entrance can feel cramped when crowded, despite the number system. Overall, it's a lovely café and a must-visit for Fika lovers! The raspberry latte looks cute but I don’t recommend it - it’s extremely sweet and flavourless A beautiful café with extra seating in the back that isn't immediately visible from the outside. Their cakes are amazing! We tried the Princess (Prinsesstårta) and a chocolate cake—both were freshly made and absolutely delicious. The was excellent as well, and you can even purchase their roasted beans to enjoy at home. I can’t recommend this place enough! café 5-STAR! It is a beautiful patisserie at the middle of Malmö. Un incontournable à Malmö pour un fika 🇸🇪 De passage à Malmö pour l’Eurovision, nous souhaitions faire le traditionnel fika (goûter) et tester les pâtisseries traditionnelles locales avec un bon café. Force est de constater en entrant que les Suédois sont des gourmands et qu’ils savent faire de très bonnes pâtisseries. Ce lieu est très charmant, absolument authentique, l’intérieur est chaleureux et cosy et la terrasse est très accueillante (surtout quand la journée est ensoleillée). Le choix des pâtisseries est très large, de très bonne qualité/quantité et à des prix très accessibles. L’accueil est très sympathique et le service rapide et efficace. Nous avons eu l’occasion de revenir 3 fois chez Hollandia et sommes tombés amoureux de la Prinsesstårta (gâteau traditionnel suédois à base d’une génoise, de crème fouettée et d’une couche de confiture de framboises, le tout recouvert d’une fine couche de pâte d’amande). However we were disappointed by the iced matcha, which we found to be gritty and full of lumps. Nevertheless, staff were lovely and the cakes again, to emphasise, were very tasty. especially the desserts are and very fresh. the atmosphere is calm and to spend time here. Had a very good slice of (Tårtbit) with a very good tasting choco bottom and cream. Loved it. The chocolate ball was exquisite. We had very good coffee. Even though it was really crowded (Saturday afternoon) and there was quite a line at the counter, seats were available in the huge cafè. It still feels really cozy because it’s not one big room, but rather many small ones which creates a really atmosphere. Unfortunately they ran out of shrimp sandwiches right before it was our turn, but we took the salad instead which was probably even better, as it was like a bowl with lots of fresh ingredients :) The experience I had today was truly unacceptable. While I was drinking my and eating my pastry, a staff member came up to me—in front of everyone—and told me that using a laptop on weekends is forbidden. There is no such rule written anywhere, no sign, and it has never been communicated before. The way it was said was so rude and exclusionary that I genuinely felt embarrassed and singled out. Approaching a customer like this is far from professional. The place may look nice, but after this treatment, I will not be coming back. This kind of attitude only leads to losing customers. Drinks were great, no complaints there, and we just had some of the sweets, although there are a wide selection of sandwiches that looked really tasty and could also be made gluten-free. My wife had a gluten-free Meringue Cream with pieces of Mandarin inside, which she really enjoyed, and I had an apple thing and an egg custard tart, both of which were also great. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well! Absolutely one of the best confectionery in Malmö, I recommend it for everyone who looks for test and quality.. place to grab a bite to eat or some cake!
