I didnt have reservation so we were sent away and they didnt even try to make room for us eventhough I have seen several tabels free. Also we tried to be flaxible and wait or that we come back in a latter time but answer was that they are full and that was it. So if you are going here make a reservation or search for another place. Had a great grilled beef in a while! We were very satisfied with meat :) but maybe happier with french fries 🥹 Dessert looked great but we couldn't try because the amount of food was a lot. Service was great, food came out quickly, liked the indoor decorations, all was a great experience. Went with friends to eat here. It was busy but we had a reservation. En ijscoupe met advocaat met vers gedraaid ijs. Gezellig zitten, vriendelijke bediening. Carpaccio voorgerechten maar iets te koud opgediend. Côte á l'os was maar al beter/meer gegeten. Vooral groentjes ontbreken bij alle 4 hoofdgerechten. Bij lamskroontje en zalm enkel een gedeeld kommetje koude groenten. Frietjes en handgesneden. Dame blanche ijs was smakeloos en koude chocolade saus. Uiteindelijk niets slecht maar ook niet wauw. Yesterday evening we entered the restaurant at 8:17 p.m., and the kitchen had already stopped working! Yes, the working time is said to be till 11 p.m., but....it turned out that the staff had already cleaned the kitchen and refused to serve the new guests. So, for a drink or dessert we would have been welcome, which was still something. The beer came with some "tapas" (olives) as a compliment, but still the bitter taste remained. About 40 minutes later the kitchen had to serve fries for another customer....double standard? In any case, the atmosphere is very cosy, alternative and combines the old fashion with the contemporary trends. Vintage. The waiters were polite, even when refusing to give us dinner. There were also a lot of aperitif options and the non alcoholic pineapple passion fruit mocktail was a refreshing start. We ended up with Chateaubriand, entrecote and gambas served with salad and fries. Everyone was happy with their choice. Next time we have to remember to save room for dessert. I not recommend to visit this place with toddlers. They said they have baby seats but in reality it was a higher chair with no buckles and on very instabil legs. It wasn’t a proper baby seat. My son was very unsafe in this chair so at the end he was eating on my laps so I couldn’t enjoy my food. The food is actually very tasty (but my my was cold already I was able to eat it) however for the price I think it’s a must. Great place! Had a fanstastic dinner. Meat grill is superb, as beers and deserts. Staff super friendly, helped us translating into English. Supper! The first time I went here war for my fist date with my husband.
