A great day out, the are well cared for and the people there obviously love the they look after. The talk on the way round was fascinating without being a lecture. Really well worth booking. Wonderful all day experience. Our guide/handler, Leigh (spelling unknown) was excellent. The knowledge, patience, and expertise of this staff member made our experience. We were able to see and feed numerous types of birds. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the fly and demonstrate hunting behaviors. The spaces indoor and outdoor are nice. Highly visiting for long it short time. We'll definitely be coming back. We've had a wonderful bird of prey day at Fens Falconry! We've really enjoyed seeing and learning about the birds, and being able to handle and fly them was the highlight of the day. The guide was super and friendly too. Would definitely recommend! Fens Falconry - a Fantastic Afternoon! Attended today for a gifted Xmas present. Signed in and offered drinks on arrival, then introduced to our 'Bird Staff' Bell and Matty. Shout out to Orzo for being the days soundtrack! 🥰 First hour was meeting all the and learning about their species etc. We went on to which was and having a more one to one with the handlers, asking questions etc. We were able to handle one eyed Wensleydale the Ural Owl and Orion the Saker Falcon, both beautiful birds. To finish the we went to the display ring and with a range of birds, saw how they were exercised with more handling. Seeing the Peregrine falcon display really ended the day brilliantly! The all looked so well looked after and were not forced to do anything! Would 100% to any age! We visited recently as a family to do the falconry experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, really going above and beyond to make us comfortable and able to enjoy the day. The talks and demonstrations were excellent, with lots of interesting background and facts about all of the during the walk and handling. The was fantastic we got to hold quite a few different and the Saker Falcon was incredible to see in action. Decent amount of parking, nice facilities too, all very well organised and maintained with lots for the kids to do and look at. Can't highly enough. Myself and my son had a group day today. Thank you to Belle and Matty for their patience and kindness with my son who has Autism. Both are very and we found out lots of interesting facts about the birds. The centre is very clean and the are so well cared for. I can’t wait to come back. My sister bought me an day for my birthday this year and we had an day! We saw far more than I expected and had a wonderful time with Leigh. They were incredibly and accommodated us very well. Lunch was brilliant, more than enough food for us. We had a 5 year old along for the day and he had an time, he was included in the and was able to do everything we did, which was very impressive. He also had a specials kids lunch box provided, which I didn't ask for or expect so that was lovely. I feel as though our needs as a group were really thought about and we had a wonderful time. We did the Easter which was very good value, a packed 2 hours including bird display, bird handling, Easter hunt, owl pellet disection, and other activities. Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Suitable for all ages including older teenagers 😊. I had the package for a birthday surprise. It was just seeing these wonderful up close and actually being able to hold them and fly them. Belle was brilliant! Loads of about each bird. You could tell that she was in her element with these creatures. She knew them and they trusted her. The environment was lovely. Quiet although not isolated as there are houses close by. I’d do it again! Brilliant idea if you’re like me and like to be hands on. Good day out as we took a picnic to have afterwards and there was no hurry for us to go, we could look around again if we wanted too. What can I say it was the most day we've had together from start to finish lee and Mathew made it super special with there vast passion and of each and everyone of there beautiful nothing was to much trouble being able to get up so close and personal with these really is a once in a lifetime and we're already planning our next visit. Thanks again for really making our day so special Had a fantastic day for a large family group (3 generations including 6 kids age 3-9). The day was tailored to us with a range of activities and experiences. We had a picnic in the garden for lunch and they even provided the kids with some games to play.
