Great racing, no poor viewing spots and friendly staff make this a good family evening out. Great night out at the Speedway some excellent racing. There is such a variety of sports on offer to watch like banger racing, stock car racing, and speedway (bikes each other in an oblong shaped track) They often have bouncy castles available for the kids to play on free of charge, which is great for intervals. They also hold firework nights, which are epic and gr8 value for money also. The food available is basic but exactly what you would expect watching a working man's sport, absolutely delicious, burgers, cheap thin chips and a few other favourites. Any special occasion on the calendar, there will be something on here I guarantee it. We attended our first speedway event at the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. There is a large car park with an overspill just over the road, there are toilets and a bar also selling food. Once in, you can pay an extra £2 to sit in the stands, they are uncovered though. When we arrived there was a huge queue but with 4 people on the ticket stalls it went down quickly enough. Staff were all friendly and we can’t wait to go again Excellent event 'an evening with Kelvin Tatum & Nigel Pearson. Very well organised, entertaining and informative!
