A treasure that we found by surprise. We just enjoyed an ice cream across the street when we spotted this restaurant. We had dinner in the beautiful garden, full of flowers, and really enjoyed our pancakes! We ordered the Hendrick pancake and the Kapsalon pancake. They were both delicious! The waiter was so friendly and the service was fast. We'll come back for sure! What a lovely restaurant! If you go cycling outside Amsterdam you should stop here for a pancake (they have many types) or something else to eat and a nice glass of rose. The service is excellent, the terrace is beautiful. Highly recommended! Sadly the kitchen didn't work, but coffee was nice. Two summers ago I ended up in Vreeland after a random Sunday bike ride. I fell in love with the romantic setting of this garden and the lovely interior of the dine-in area. I went for the onion soup, and it was so good that even after 2 years I was still looking for an excuse to revisit this place (I don’t live close by). Now last weekend I was with some friends who are on vacation in the Netherlands and they wanted to have some real Dutch pancakes. You can imagine that I didn’t have to think twice to recommend coming here. The onion soup was still as yummy as ever and who would’ve thought that a simple pancake with brown sugar and lemon could taste this good?? I will be back, even if it’ll take me another 2 summers again😊 We were on a cycling tour and saw this while cycling past - it already looked so cozy from the outside that we had to stop by, and we certainly didn’t regret it. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing - perfect for a lunch stop. We ate the „Boerenomelette“ and a pancake, the food was super tasty and more than enough to satisfy the hunger of two cyclists :) The hot chocolate is definitely a recommendation! We‘ll stop by again when we get the chance Amazing, cozy with great pancakes! Visiting from NY and was brought here to get a taste of traditional Dutch pancakes and croquets which did not disappoint! They have done an amazing job with this place. It’s located in a quaint little town. The outside garden is gorgeous and I would definitely check it out for an authentic Dutch afternoon bite. This was our best cuisine experience - in the most fantastic sorroundings - the sweetest personale and the food was amazing 👌🏻 only 25 minutes by car from Amsterdam you find this little peace of heaven. In the finest little town Vreeland.
