Visiting this is a very special and unique experience. This is a must-see for those who are interested in wine, especially volcanic wine, and those who are passionate about the stories that can tell. Umberto the sommelier is a master storyteller and brilliant sommelier. He will make you laugh but also finds a way to help you build an emotional connection to the of Vesuvius. Skip the other wineries in this area- this one is the real deal and is worth the full package and tour. Saluti, Sorrentino! A wonderful and definitely worth the detour. The are excellent, with a quality that far exceeds the very reasonable prices. The food was also outstanding, perfectly paired with the and made with great care. The staff are attentive, passionate, and happy to share their knowledge, which makes the visit even more special. On top of that, the panoramic views over the vineyards and countryside are absolutely stunning. A place full of charm where you can truly enjoy both the flavors and the atmosphere. Highly recommended. Excellent location with splendid view next to Vesuvio, with 50 ha of vineyards and brilliant rosé, quite heavy mineral red like Vigna Lapillo, which is smooth bio red with flavour of plums, chocolate and tobacco. Nice sommelier Umberto made it an unforgettable experience. Nice gnocchi tomato pasta as well as with spaghetti a very aromatic sauce. All in all worth a stay over at the feet of Vesuv of a night in their hotel rooms. Highly recommended 💝🙏 at Sorrentino Our group of seven was really looking forward to a memorable with food. At EUR 100.00 per person, our expectations were naturally quite high — a nice selection of wines, engaging explanations, and good food. While the themselves were decent, the explanations were rather brief and mostly limited to naming the grape varieties, without much background about the vineyards, production, or the story behind the wines. As for the food, perhaps our expectations were a little too high, as this is primarily a and not a restaurant. The portions were fine, and the dishes reflected a simple, home-style cuisine. Overall, we enjoyed the setting and the wines, but the as a whole didn’t quite match the price of EUR 100.00 per person. Our visit to **Sorrentino Vesuvio Winery** was absolutely unforgettable! We celebrated my wife’s birthday there, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The day started with a beautiful **horseback ride through the vineyards**, followed by a **wine tasting** and a **delicious lunch** with an incredible view of Mount Vesuvius. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, making the whole feel personal and authentic. Every glass of told a story — and the **Falanghina** quickly became one of my favorites. If you’re visiting the Amalfi Coast or Naples area, this place is a must. Perfect combination of nature, history, and great wine. We’ll definitely remember this day forever! 🍷🐎🌋 My partner and I had a and lunch today after a of Pompeii. It was such a beautiful and view on a beautiful day. The dining area was clean, elegant, and spacious. The bathrooms were clean. Character throughout the winery. The service was very good and the people were kind. Bonus points for a sweet sweet doggie on sight who loved to get pets! Highly recommend! We came in without a reservation and Maria Sorrentino made us feel very welcomed! She beautifully presented all the we tasted and of course, we had several bottles shipped back to the USA! Antonio took the time to take a couple of pictures for me to send back to the family. What a wonderful experience! The history of the grapes growing in the ground filled with levels of lava rock is simply amazing. This is a must see. And yes, they serve food as well! Thank you Maria! This was a wonderful for an price. 55 euros and we had 3 courses plus desserts and 4 tastings. All of the food was and the was superb. Loved the sparkling white and rose the most. Highly recommended! Ottima location, servizio perfetto, educazione e professionalità. They were so generous with the and accommodated our dietary restrictions (one vegetarian and one gluten-free) without a problem. We had a wonderful and would return again. Grazie! Visiting this on Mount Vesuvius was an unforgettable experience! The setting alone is breathtaking, with sweeping vineyard views framed by the volcano and the Bay of Naples. What truly made the visit special, though, was the sommelier, Benjamin. He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, walking us through the unique history of the soil, the varietals grown here, and how the volcanic terroir creates such distinctive wines. Every was paired perfectly, and Benjamin made it both educational and fun. The themselves were outstanding—complex, bold, and unlike anything I’ve tried before. Highly recommend making this stop part of your trip—you’ll remember it forever! I recently vacationed in Italy, and I, of course, had to enjoy a at a place that uses grapes grown in volcanic soil from Mount Vesuvius! What a unique to have! To be honest, my expectations were exceeded! The food was delicious, the views were incredible, the staff was fantastic, and the was outstanding. I really enjoyed our host, Umberto, who was as charming as he was knowledgeable. He told us about each of the wines, served us like we were VIPs, and joked with us (Americans love to laugh). He also taught us about making and about the history of the area, which made the whole thing even more memorable. The whole staff was great, and the atmosphere was perfect for the event. I'm planning to come back the next time I'm in Italy! We didn’t stay overnight, but had lunch by the vineyard and tasting. The set lunch was amazing! With the right balance of flavours, veggie, cheeses and meats. The tomato pasta was so fresh and in its simplicity. Beniamino was a wanderfull host, attentive and funny, despite the very busy day! A beautiful we highly recommend it for an authentic and day. service, truly wonderful with our family. Antonio and Umberto made it enjoyable and a fun time. Little drunk as I’m writing this due to the great taste of the wine. Exceptional quality, thank you guys so much! Also, what a view! Additionally, the food was and all paired so well together. Even in the rain, the wasn’t tainted. Truly loved it. 🩷 Such a wonderful experience! We did the & cooking class. Food was - we were SO full. Carmelo was wonderful, funny & knowledgeable! We went on a Wednesday; it was intimate and breathtaking views .. to the point where my boyfriend spontaneously proposed because it was SO beautiful. Ben gave us a nice of the grape vineyards. What a beautiful, one-of-a-kind experience. Well worth the $, and be prepared! They’re going to try to sell you their wines… AND… you’re going to want to buy. We had a followed by and lunch. The was excellent (and I have been on many tours in many countries). Benjamin was informative about what makes Vesuvio and different than other places in the world and about the grapes that are unique to this area. Kudos to the chef. The food was and abundant. Of course, we also enjoyed the wine!!! Had an time doing a here at Sorrentino. The were delicious. They served us a full Italian lunch and it was to die for. I recommend this for everyone to enjoy a good time. The sommelier was the best. 10/10 recommend for everyone. We came for the and cooking class. Mary did an outstanding job teaching us how to make gnocchi. She was very friendly and fun to work with. Umberto was also very friendly, shared his knowledge of the vineyard/Mt. Vesuvius with us on the tour. He also told us about the grapes and process of making each type of during the tasting. Make sure you are hungry when you come. The amount of food served was amazing. No need for breakfast before or lunch after! We would recommend this event. We did add several kinds of to our souvenirs! DO NOT GO HERE- we were SCAMMED into buying several bottles of wine. We went for a with 6 people. We ordered that was suppose to be sent to San Francisco. It has been 6 months and we haven't received anything. I contacted the with no response. We prepaid for 12 bottles of and received nothing. The service was excellent the was exceptional. We ended up buying 24 bottles of which were able to be shipped to the US for free. They the anti aging cream smells delicious. Humberto was very hospitable and informative. Our family had a memorable experience. Such an experience! We did the cooking class and and would definitely recommend both. Everyone was welcoming from start to finish. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and went the extra mile. Our server was super friendly and funny, and very knowledgeable of the and their origin. The of the was beautiful and interesting. Definitely coming back. Perfect date night/afternoon, the service was top notch and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable on the history and the science behind the produced here, Umberto was our guide and he even made some on the spot recommendations that were phenomenal, if you’re a husband looking for an that you’re wife will be impressed by in Naples this one won’t let you down My wife and I had a fantastic trekking with Umberto. He was an excellent guide and we learned quite a bit about the region, the nuances of making organic fine wines, and even the history of the area. Lunch at Sorrentino was excellent. The samples were wonderful, again explained to us by the very knowledgeable Umberto. We’ll be back. We had an time at this beautiful location — the views are absolutely spectacular! The vineyard led by Benjamin was both informative and engaging. You can really feel his passion for winemaking. The themselves were excellent — each with its own unique character. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable in a breathtaking setting. An Unforgettable at Sorrentino Vesuvio Vineyard From start to finish, our time at Sorrentino Vesuvio Vineyard was absolutely exceptional. Benjamin was an incredible host—knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about the and the region. He made us feel welcomed and completely immersed in the experience. The was simply outstanding—each glass paired perfectly with the food, which showcased the best of local flavors with fresh, authentic ingredients. The accommodation was charming, comfortable, and beautifully set up to reflect the rustic elegance of the vineyard. The location is breathtaking—nestled on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, the scenery is something out of a dream, with panoramic views that make you want to stop and soak it all in.
