Excellent location with splendid view next to Vesuvio, with 50 ha of vineyards and brilliant rosé, quite heavy mineral red like Vigna Lapillo, which is smooth bio red with flavour of plums, chocolate and tobacco. Nice sommelier Umberto made it an unforgettable experience. Nice gnocchi tomato pasta as well as with spaghetti a very aromatic sauce. At EUR 100.00 per person, our expectations were naturally quite high — a nice selection of wines, engaging explanations, and good food. While the themselves were decent, the explanations were rather brief and mostly limited to naming the grape varieties, without much background about the vineyards, production, or the story behind the wines. As for the food, perhaps our expectations were a little too high, as this is primarily a and not a restaurant. The portions were fine, and the dishes reflected a simple, home-style cuisine.
