Poor Experience – Would Not Return We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and felt compelled to share our experience. When we arrived, we were given a that had clearly not been cleaned. The bedsheets were pulled back, there was hair on the duvet, the pillows were messy, towels were left on the bathroom floor, and even the toilet hadn’t been flushed. While the staff did move us to a different after we raised the issue, it was a concerning first impression. Unfortunately, their poor communication was exposed again the next morning, around 8:15 AM, a cleaner entered our without knocking while my partner had just stepped out of the shower. This was a serious breach of privacy and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the cleaner questioned whether we were supposed to be in the at all, adding to the confusion and frustration. Even after that, we were made to feel pressured to leave the well before the 11:00 AM checkout time. The cleaner returned yet again to ask if we had returned the key, while my partner was already waiting outside. These repeated intrusions and the general lack of professionalism made us question the standards and, coupled with the lack of reply to our concerns via email, this really was a dissatisfying experience. Overall, our stay was uncomfortable and stressful, and we would not stay here again. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience. A good selection of drinks, hot and cold. Also a breakfast menu till 11.30 followed by lunch and evening menu. We have not sampled the food just drinks but it is all well presented. The staff are friendly and the location perfect on a sunny day sat overlooking the river and new flood defences!! I have lived in Bewdley for nearly 12 months but only recently discovered the food in the Courtyard. Wow! The burgers are amazing and on Monday they are 50% off! I defy you to find a better burger locally even without the discount. £25 for two burgers and two drinks is cheaper than McDonald's and far better quality!! The quality of the patties is superb, the staff super friendly and with outside seating and an inside area overlooking the river there is no better place to eat in Bewdley in my opinion. Will be returning very soon for steak night on Thursdays. Highly recommend 🍔👍🏻 Myself and my wife have just returned from a stay at the Courtyard, it was fantastic in every way, the was overlooking the river, very comfortable bed and it was lovely and clean, the food was really nice and the breakfast was superb, all the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Well done Courtyard it was a great experience. Only go here if you have a minimum of 2 hours to wait for your food. Table booked 6.30pm - ordered within 15 minutes - still no food by 8.30pm 😞 Very angry chef cursing and swearing within earshot. A shame really as the food can be excellent. Sorry to say this but that's twice now we've experienced this long long wait. Probably the best burger I've ever had! Steak stack with peppercorn sauce. Half price on a Monday too so decided to do the Korean hoisin chicken stripes. Did my best to finish them. Stuffed! Ambience in the place is lovely, so chilled and quaint. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Literally on the riverside so view was amazing too. What a gem! My wife and I had another great meal at The Courtyard last night.
