Si tratta di un lago artificiale formato dalle acque del torrente Buthier, nato con la costruzione, negli anni ’60, della diga ad arco più alta d’Europa: un’opera imponente e affascinante. Questo lago è celebre per il suo colore intenso e per il paesaggio naturale circostante, che in estate e in autunno regala sfumature davvero impressionanti. Il riflesso dell’acqua turchese sui boschi, le cime innevate in lontananza e il silenzio della montagna lo rendono un luogo unico. 🚶‍♂️ L’escursione al Lago di Place-Moulin è facile e adatta a tutti, senza dislivelli, e segue interamente le sponde del lago. È perfetta per famiglie, camminatori occasionali o chi semplicemente vuole godersi una giornata all’aria aperta senza troppo sforzo. 🌲 Il percorso offre un paesaggio da cartolina, con cascate, boschi, alpeggi e viste panoramiche. In autunno, poi, diventa un luogo magico per ammirare il foliage: i larici si tingono d’oro e il contrasto con l’azzurro intenso del lago è qualcosa che resta nel cuore. 📸 Non dimenticate la macchina fotografica! Ogni curva del sentiero offre scorci unici e indimenticabili. ✅ Un luogo ideale per escursioni, pic-nic, relax e fotografia. Alla partenza c’è un bar. La passeggiata è semplice e quasi tutta in piano tranne dei piccoli pezzi leggermente in salita ma fattibile anche dai bimbi e con passeggino. La camminata è quasi tutta esposta al sole eccetto dei tratti con delle cascatelle in cui ci si può rinfrescare. All’arrivo c’è il rifugio, in cui se decidete di pranzare consiglio di prenotare in quanto molto frequentato. We walked the rim all the way to the other end of the lake and we refilled out water bottles from a couple waterfalls along the way. Bear in mind, its not a short walk either so wear comfortable shoes and bring walking sticks if possible. Highly recommend!
