The most and the most welcoming staff! After doing Pompeii and running up Vezuvio to be able to arrive at this place, I was greeted with open arms, handed my first glass of and whisked away on a relaxing, informative of the winery. Carmine and Rosario were the best! They showed me around the place, treated me as friends and were one of the best experiences of this place. The was brief, but informative and then we went straight to the dining experience, which is absolutely stunning! The food was incredible, the wine, unmeasurably good and the service was phenomenal. I couldn't have asked for a better close for my day. After dinner, they even offered us a free shuttle to the train station, which you can request beforehand to the as well. This is, all in all, the most well rounded I have been on and I am sure I will be back for more! ✨✨✨✨✨ We booked the three-course with before heading to the airport (about 30 minutes away), and it was a lovely way to end our trip. The property is peaceful and beautifully maintained, surrounded by a relaxing vineyard atmosphere. The receptionist who guided us through the vineyard was lively, friendly, and very informative — it was a start to the experience. After the tour, we went upstairs for our meal. The restaurant was nearly full, though there were still a few available tables. We were seated near the window, which offered a nice view. The first course was delicious but felt a bit rushed, as the waitress seemed quite busy and under pressure. It was hard to fully enjoy the dish even though it was beautifully prepared. The main course (spaghetti) was very good, and the dessert — though a bit sweet for my taste — paired nicely with the dessert wine. We sampled one white and two red wines, all pleasantly balanced and not overly acidic. Overall, it was a at a fair price. I’d visiting for a later around 2 PM to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere and fully savor the food and wine. This was such a wonderful experience. When arriving by car go to the club entrance and buzz in via the intercom. We were greeted with a glass of pink fizz, shown the vineyard, you got your first proper view of Vesuvius, taken to the processing area, we met the owner. Then time for on the roof top terrace- Vesuvius behind us and the bay of Naples in front of us, stunning! Pairings of the with each course were superb, we obviously bought some bottles to take home. Will be recommending to all I know and try and come back if I visit Naples again. Squoze this visit in on our way to Rome from Positano and couldn't be happier! This was an authentic with genuinely nice people. It is literally at the foothill of Mt Vesuvius. A nice of their immaculate, yet operational led to a wonderfully pleasant with tasting. The food was excellent, and not too much not too little. I've been to my share of tastings and aside from the excitement, fun and alcohol, this was great. I ordered 6 bottles, of my own free will and was not pressured at all. I wish I could go back for dinner weekly. Definitely worth the stop, especially in this area where there are not a lot of wineries. The most at this family owned winery, after a short round the active vineyard, with a guided explanation of the bottling process. We were taken to a sunny rooftop terrace, overlooking Mount Vesuvius on one side and the sea on the other, with beautiful views of the vines. we were provided with the most accented by five delicious wines. Friendly and welcoming service. A free shuttle to and from the train stations, made this the perfect afternoon! We had a gorgeous day at the winery! The was brief but informational and educational. The three-course alone was worth the price, not to mention all the delicious wines! Came for a 3-course (€45) and to my surprise I was not aware of a of the vineyards and processing area. This is my second visit here and it’s a very nice Neapolitan winery. The guide was very informative. The receptionist and service from email reservation was very kind and helpful along the way. The food was good, hit the spot for simple but tasty lunch. The are great. The rosé to start was one of my favorites. Very crisp and fresh. The dessert tart pastiera was very good, my Italian husband makes it and it reminded me of the same quality and taste 👌🏼buonissimo! Had a sweet surprise with a candle on dessert and singing from waiters for my birthday 🎂 Such a fun and great, friendly staff!! We loved our kind greeting and of the vineyard and operations. The was delicious and all of the (so much better than Napa tastings). I highly for a afternoon near Pompei, Naples, or Sorrento! We had an three course meal with all the this vineyard produces, very high quality and organic. They sell their exclusively on the spot or on their website (which we will definitely buy their from). Their were amazing, just like the scenery as you dine and drink on the slopes of the active Visuvio Volcano. Carmine greeted us for the and he's very friendly and welcoming, but so is all staff. I'd definitely come here again, the money was very well worth this experience! If you’re looking for an exceptional experience, look no further than this family-owned gem of a company. From the moment you open a bottle, you can taste the love, passion, and expertise that goes into every drop. The are not just delicious, they tell a story—one of dedication, tradition, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Each varietal is crafted with care, offering a perfect balance of flavor, aroma. What sets this company apart is not only their outstanding selection but also the personal touch you feel with every interaction. They treat you like family, whether you’re visiting their vineyard or ordering online. Supporting a small, family-owned business has never tasted so good. This company embodies everything that makes boutique wineries special—authentic, unique, and unforgettable. Highly recommend! My family and I participated in the private and could not have been more impressed. The staff are very welcoming and the location is beautiful, with views of Mount Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples in the distance. We started by learning about the history of the before proceeding to where they store and process their wines. Afterwards, Ester and Antonella prepared a delectable 4 course meal at the family villa, each paired with a that captures the essence of the cantina. Ester’s red vinegar was another highlight that complimented the assortment of cheeses really well. I particularly admire the organic philosophy they embody, meaning no sulfates are present in their wines. I strongly this to anyone who will be visiting Pompeii. A huge thank you to Cantina Vesuvio Russo for an outstanding experience! Amazing- must do! After touring Pompeii and climbing Vesuvius, we decided to do a and pairing at the winery. We worried since we didn’t have a reservation but boy- did they welcome us with open arms! Before even stepping onto the front porch, we were greeted with sparkling wine. We received a small (about 10 min), showing us the grapes, the bottling operation, then finished upstairs where we sat on the balcony where we ate, drank, and enjoyed the views. The scenery here was beautiful- like a postcard! Service was amazing, staff was kind and accommodating. Couldn’t say anything bad about this and would highly to any friends/ family. A truly unforgettable at this beautiful winery. Nestled right under Mount Vesuvius, the setting was breathtaking. The was exceptional and the atmosphere was inviting. Relaxing with a glass in hand while taking in the stunning views of the vineyards was the perfect way to spend the afternoon. A timeless and romantic experience. Highly for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Italy in such a serene and picturesque setting. Cantina Del Vesuvio is an absolute treasure! The views are spectacular, the is and the people are phenomenal. Everyone we met on our was incredible kind and welcoming, especially our guide Rosario who was an absolute joy. Rosario, we were enchanted to meet you *wink* *wink*. If you are in Naples, I highly you take the 20 minute trip to visit the winery. Don’t forget to try the apricot drink at the end of your stay and say hello to Vino the cat! Grazie! P.S I promised I’d write a song for the so here it goes: Russo vines, Vesuvio shines, One glass and life’s divine! BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE!! All of the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. My mom and I had the best time exploring the vineyard and taking time to relax in the beautiful villa. The cooking class with Ester was the highlight of our experience, highly to anyone back home. The visit at Russo was absolutely amazing. Especially Carmine was very welcoming and kind. The was nice, the place is mesmerising, the food and the were great. We will definitely come back. If you visit Naples, you have to visit the "Cantina del Vesuvio", this is a small just at the bottom of Vesuvius mountain, with views. We went for a tasting. The was amazing. The tour, testing and food to accompany the were delicious. The staff was extremely helpful and they were very flexible and went an extra mile to accommodate our visit. Thank you so much for the experience. Cantina Del Vesuvio was absolutely beautiful with a view of the mountain. We had a short of vines, got to taste a grape, then had 5 to taste with cheese, salami, bread and olive oil, followed by spaghetti with meatballs, then dessert with a sweet wine. Well worth the visit. Wonderful staff and service, with stunning views. Best to book a shuttle as there are no taxis. Spent very enjoyable couple of hours. I appreciated the with a gorgeous view, while several of their wines. The tour, included with the lunch, is, however, quite short and does not provide in-depth explanation of the different grape varieties and production process. Worth a visit if you are in the area! From the moment we arrived, the staff at Cantina del Vesuvio made us feel incredibly welcome. We were given a fantastic tour, starting with a stroll through the beautiful vineyards on the volcanic land, followed by a look inside the cellar. Everyone we met was genuinely nice and passionate about what they do. The true highlight, however, was the food and tasting. We were treated to authentic Napoli food that perfectly complemented the of their fine wines, which were truly top-notch. And to top it all off, the view from the was absolutely amazing—it's a sight you won't forget. This was more than just a meal and a tasting; it was an unforgettable that combined hospitality, delicious food and wine, and a breathtaking view. I highly it to anyone visiting the area! We visited this after landing at the Napoli airport to celebrate my sister and a friend's birthday. We had Stunning views and top notch service, food and wine! We loved our guide Lino who was and made us feel so welcome! 10 out of 10 and a perfect way to start our vacation in Italy. Federica, Carmine, Giovanni and Elga are the best. The was a to learn about the Italian Vesuvius culture and the history of making. Carmine was very articulate and created a welcoming space for our Honeymoon. Incredible service and beautiful wines! My favorite was the they started us out with which I believe was a rosè. I let them know I had a gluten allergy and they had fantastic gluten free substitutes. 11/10 would recommend!!
