CSC was the venue for a rock band called Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash for the 50th anniversary of their Live Dates album. The Turner band is amazing and hearing such great songs live from the 70's was ace and the CSC as a venue for such gigs was great as well. Do more.👍🏻 Another great evening of live music. Well organised event bar prices very fair. Chairs are comfortable too. I come here to give blood every so often . I usually walk from CV so if you are coming from this way it may not be obvious but walk through Tesco round the back where the Lorry’s go. Staff always very friendly here and the whole process is pretty straightforward and painless. More people should donate!! Went here ro watch a band arranged by a guy that puts events on in the hall. The club itself is OK, prices are good and staff are nice. But the guy that runs the events has a sound crew that are clearly deaf and he seems to have a penchant for money, Clearly over charging fans to see the bands they love. I do not recommend Black Frog Promotions. Great place to hold a gig. I went here to see my nephew 'Connor Selby' play with his band. Bar was ok, prices were club prices. The stage and sound were brilliant. Tables and chairs were all of a standard and the toilets were clean. We didn't eat here. I am not sure if they did food. Plastic glasses now, bar staff are the most unfriendly people I have met. They clearly do not want to be there serving, everything is an effort. Update 31.9.2024 Different staff now which seem happier, the whole place has been decorated and it's so much nicer now. Still plastic drinks containers which I still hate. Nine below zero 🙌👏👌 We had great night! Very kind & friendly atmosphere! Love it! Lovely modern bar. Good selection of cold alcoholic and non alcohol beverages aswell as hot drinks at very good prices. Dart board pool tables wish I found this place sooner. Very friendly staff and customers of all ages. Thank you for the lovely time guys.
