Only my second time here on a day ticket. Lovely big main specimen and very small pleasure lake. Main has 20lb to allegedly 40lb. Not an easy to but some lovely specimens. At the time of writing an additional 90x 20Lb + Carp had been recently added to the lake. Such a quiet relaxing place to sit an watch the wildlife while a friend attempts to catch a fish. Stunning lakes, friendly knowledgeable bailiffs, stunning carp and one of if not the best looking catfish in the UK and the biggest mandarin catfish in the UK. What more could you possibly want? Beautiful venue. Very well managed and looked after. They have a buggy service to pick you up from the car park and drop you to your swim. It is always worth checking that this is working before you go because if the ground is too muddy they sometimes stop it. quality fish. I have always felt perfectly safe doing overnighter's on my own here as well. Beautiful place very big lake, big fish. Nice to have a shower onsite after a hot day £10.00 key deposit you get that back and £1.00 for shower card. Only downside is carrying you equipment around the lake. But curly the bailiff offers a service where he will drive your equipment to your bay for a small fee. All in all lake. Perfect place for a fishing campaign with a stock of fish, but also It's a very beautiful carp with lots of lovely wildlife. I spent 48hrs and cant praise the and Rob the baliff enough...so friendly and helpful..definitely coming back...had a great weekend.... Actually becoming a really fishing , been fishing at crowsheath for about 7 years now and when first started catching was few n far between , its since had new owners been stocked up is well kept and is an all round amazing fishery. Just fished this weekend I had 4 carp out biggest being 22.5lb , the swims are a size , on site and they also have a caddy service to move your gear from car to desired swim. Bailiffs are friendly , would recommend to anyone thinking of going it Is a nice setting a chilled space.Everyone I have met Is friendly. Very well looked after with brilliant balif can turn up ring balif and get a lift to your swim with all your gear no need to pack your barrow says one pound for a lift but we chuck the lad a 5er and get picked up aswel Just finished a 48 hour trip here the is stunning but the is so badly run toilets disgusting rubbish left in swims No so called shop and no sign of any staff so no buggy service available no one answered the phone number on their website As I said Great but really needs someone to get hold of it and run it as it should be run Went here for the first time today.won't be back. The specimen itself looks beautiful. The area around the and the pegs are well maintained. We met a lovely man who lives there and had a chat. That's all the things I can say. We originally booked the pleasure lake. Upon arrival the pleasure is small , unkept with very steep banks and no pegs. So we went to the specimen lake. Was approached by two teenagers who was the banksman. Very strange. We turned up at 7am got our first bite at 3pm which was a baby perch. That's all we caught. No jumping no air bubbles, no sign of life until this point all day. It was busy so we spoke to fellow fishermen who hadn't caught anything either and two seperate lots had been there since last night. So obviously isn't an active lake. The facilities are one portaloo at each end of the lake. I went to use one, and iam not exaggerating I gagged so much I vomited. I'll spare the details, but someone must of had a curry before using it. I walked to the other one and people had stuffed it so much with roll that it was flowing out of the seat. So both were unusable. if I had a private enough space I would've cop't a squat instead. But I couldn't. So I had to hold myself for the whole day as not once we're they cleaned! This is the most expensive we have paid to on. I didn't expect a prestine , a use able one would've sufficed. No complaints about the but the "toilet" facilities are the worst I have ever seen anywhere in my life! 1 port-a-loo and a tin cabin with a toilet. We were there for 2 days and they were just filled with excrement. They absolutely stunk and I was nearly sick every time I went in there! It's a big and seems to be busy. Surely it would be worth investing in proper toilets that flush. There was a group of us and we all said the same. Would definitely come back IF the situation was rectified. So unsanitary. And it's not because I'm female.... I can slum it better than my husband but this was too much! fished the Carp canal - promised a runs and "almost" guaranteed to catch - talked it up a storm on the phone. reality is not one take for either of us, no line bites, no signs of life on the at all. I break our my deeper sonar and mapped the entire - only had 4 pings for fish! the is no way stocked with the promised over 150 fish! you cant miss that many in such a small when mapping with a sonar. feel totally mugged off - who sells tickets to a un-stocked lake???? Lovely fishery would’ve gave 5 stars if wasn’t for toilets (unusable) Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
