Da visitare We planned a trip of a life time. Rome to Milan via Pisa and Florence for our 50th Birthdays. The Lambretta was one of the few places that we had to go to. I wasn't disappointed for a second, just the most of which included one of every lambretta model as well as from around the world. The two highlights was the rare downstairs and if you ask nicely you may get to see the "Special Car" .. We were blessed with a guided of the workshop and made to feel very welcome. Travel by Taxi or Car. There is a bus stop at the rear for your return journey. I can't thank the team enough What an place! Definitely a must for enthusiasts. The is amazing! So many rare and the story of how Lambretta became what it is today is interesting to read and see. We had opportunity to meet the owner and a of the workshop behind the museum. We spent a good couple of hours here and would happily return. Travelling there - You need to drive or get a taxi. There is a bus stop a 2 minute walk away which will take you to the Metro to get back into Milan - You could reverse this to get there but best advice is drive or taxi it there. Check opening days and times - Certain days they are closed and they close for a lunch break, suggest you call to "book" as they can advise if open etc. Muy buen museo. Lambrettas are more or less forgotten in Milan, but this and the crumbling (most likely soon to be gone) remains of this original factory legendary motor are a testament to its existence. I came out to spend my birthday having a look around Vittorios museo, he was the perfect host, even dropping me back to my hotel afterwards. I spent a couple of hours wandering around this fantastic life times beautifully laid out sitting above Casa Lambretta, and was taken through to his workshop afterwards too. Vittorios fantastic of Lambrettas, Vespas and other are absolutely brilliant. The are displayed so that you can get up close to get a good look at all the wonderful details. Vittorio was a wonderful host, happy to chat about his passion and very kindly dropped us back to the train station, thank you. This marvellous is a little out of the way but we found it easily enough by train from Milan Centrale to Pioltello Limito and then a short taxi ride. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Vittorio. We were given a of the store and workshops of Casa Lambretta to point out a newly arrived totally original 60's DL and a rare Innocenti car driven once for a royal visit. The main event however is upstairs and WOW it does not disappoint! I could give you a commentary on the seemingly never ending original and rare machines collected over a lifetime but it wouldn't do it justice. There are plenty of photographs online but they can only begin to hint at the scale of this remarkable collection. Beautifully presented it is perhaps far too much to take it all in. There are other rooms containing oddities and rarities from the golden age of but really it's all about Lambrettas. For the casual visitor it will be interesting and informative, for a true enthusiast it will be overwhelming! A true pilgrimage. All of the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and of course I had to buy a few bits from the shop. On the right hand side of train back to central Milan you can still glimpse in the distance the water tower of the old Innocenti factory, one of the very few bits left. It felt a fitting way to round off our perfect trip! Almost forgot to mention that it's absolutely free! Amazing!
