Beautiful walk (about 15 minutes each way), with great views & variety of plants. With tickets you get quite interesting description of the antique well. This is easily one of the most compelling and significant sites of worship from Sardinia's Nuragic civilization It's an OK place, but nothing to write home about. The lower parts of the trail are not in the best shape. If you spend some time to look at the small exhibition and walk the trail slowly it'll be worth your time. Entrance fee is 5€ per adult at the time of writing. People there are very friendly. Very nice place, very well maintained. We were almost alone and enjoyed visit it a lot. Fell in love with the place, one of the best preserved of its kind in the whole of Sardinia. Lovely Maria Giovanna (I hope I remember the name correctly) was very competent, helpful, and passionate in her initial description of the site and explanation of how it must have looked three thousand years ago. As a Sardinian and an archaeologist, I must admit that Su Tempiesu stably enters my Top10 of must-see nuragic sites. Hope to be able to go back one day. One of the most beautiful place I ever seen, the archeologic site is really well maintain and clean, the stuff has been great Saluti, Marco Great small hike of 180m up and down. Not so many tourists. Nice guides. The information plates may be a little outdated (and only in italian), but it was no disturbance to us. Beautiful temple! Firstly, note that Google's location is not quite right at the time of writing... head to the car park further down the road as that is the entrance! This place is a bit of a gem. OK, it is a bit of a hike down and then up, but the guides to the flora and fauna on the way are really interesting. The shrine itself is quite amazing bearing in mind how old it is, and it all seems so peaceful and mindful when you arrive. Lots of info available at the entrance and on the guide you are given so you can understand how something over 3000 years old came to be so well preserved. Its a real nice trail down (and later up) the mountainside to your destination. Easy to walk, even with kids aged five. The smell of all the plants is so rich, that you can play a guessing game. The side of the fountain is a very quiet place for a stop.
