Great, original experience! The are in top shape, and the instructors are nice and welcoming, and really professional. Very enjoyable experience, just a bit too short! A great little circuit situated between Grenoble and Lyon. Booked a present online, and were quickly checked in when we arrived after presenting our driving license. A well organised session, with a tour of the circuit in a minibus before getting the chance to drive a Ferrari 488 GTB, and then two laps with the instructor in the Caterham Lotus 7. Friendly staff, and a great viewing point to see the drivers in action. Great day, chance to drive the in the conditions for which they were made. Instructors great, helpful comments to go that bit faster. 4 tried out, Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren and Audi. Each car is different. If you want to see them, I've put a video on Youtube (Circuit du Laquais – 4 voitures) Look forward to going back and doing some more laps and hope the sun will be out next time :-) We attended a Fun Cup day in the Beetle race and it was incredible!! I was a bit worried as the weather forecast predicted heavy rain all day. It turned out not to be raining too hard but the first practice session was definitely wet. I was surprised with how much grip the car had and it was still very fun feeling out the limits. As the day progressed the rain subsided and the dried out. The feel unbelievably grippy in the dry (even on rain tyres) and it was really cool to get to experience both a wet and dry track. I was almost glad that half of the day had been in the wet, as they are much more physical to drive in the dry. In the end the day was perfect, and I only have good thinks to say about how the event was run. The staff were always friendly with a focus on safety, but there was still a great feeling of independence. I would suggest that you would want to be fairly confident in go-karts or road before attending this, as it may be a little daunting otherwise. My over-arching feeling from the day was "wow, how are they letting us do now this" 😅. One way that they keep it safe is by employing a blue flag to overtake system. So you can only overtake at 3 set points on the if the car in front of you is given a blue flag. So you are not fully free to race. However I was pretty glad of that as I think it would have been very overwhelming otherwise. Other than that we were given a lot of freedom in terms of the driving! Overall I can highly recommend this event to anyone that is into their racing but has not done much driving. The whole day was an amazing experience and everything was handled very professionally. Thanks guys! I’ve driven the Lambo Huracan and it was a disappointment! The monitor wouldn’t stop talking and didn’t let you enjoy the ride on your own. I get that you need guidance but not that much. Didn’t even enjoy the sound of the engine cuz of the monitor talking all the time. Driving on the with someone talking all the time is annoying. I’ve taken 2 laps and didn’t manage to enjoy the track. The monitor would keep monitoring without letting me focus a single second. Didn’t even see time passing. Honestly it’s way too expensive for what it is! Plus, when you’re done driving and ready to leave the circuit nobody tells you to go pick up your driving diploma so if you don’t know there’s a diploma at the end, you will never get it! when I checked my diploma I saw that they didn’t even write my name properly! this circuit is a joke!!! Skip this circuit!!! Save your money if you’re really a car person and want to enjoy sensations I don’t advise you this track. There are better ones, less expensive! Wanted to give this one a try, I regret!
