Really amazing little place, perfect for taking the kids and family to. The shop is decently priced as expected and doesn't break the bank account! Highly recommend 👌 Such a lovely place to visit and experience a working farms day. Cafe is really lovely and the people that work there so friendly a good selection of local produce too. This is a wonderful community farm. Jane and the team are really friendly. We had our son's birthday in the straw barn and they got the old tractor out for photos, plus we had a lovely tour of the and animals. And you can walk around for free! Been here many times, always donate when we go and it fills a couple of hours in the day. You can feed some of the animals, there are a range of bird and small like rabbits to look at close up and they have birds of prey to look at either in their housing or if you time it right flying in the field. Not much shade, so take a hat and sun block in the summer. Lovely place to take the children to visit the animals, birds (including birds of prey) and small (rabbits, guinea pigs etc). Quite small, don't expect to be there for hours. They have a nice little coffee shop. Animal feed readily available for £1 to support the farm. They ran a fantastic 'young farmers club' for a few days during the summer holidays. Amazing little place, lovely areas for the animals. Loved feeding the goats and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Cafe was super nice. Will definitely visit again. For a free community it is excellent and the children had a great time feeding the animals. The volunteer staff were amazing and answered all our Grandsons questions. Only negative, that we were told we couldnt eat in the cafe as our grandson (ASD) only eats certain foods so we always take with us, but this couldnt be eaten in the cafe as it wasnt allowed. Although myself, husband and grandaughter were going to buy lunch we were told to find a picnic bench and they do take away. I understand no picnic food in the cafe but this showed little understanding and acceptance for a child with special needs surrounding food. Very disppointing. However a wonderful staff member moved a picnic bench away from the Hallowen display so he could enjoy his experience of the farm. Super lovely little place! Popped in at the recommendation of my friend as it's free and it's definitely somewhere I would pay to go. We paid for a pot of animal feed which our 2 year old loved feeding to the animals. Will 100% be back soon. Took my nearly 3 year old granddaughter. Lovely little with a variety of friendly animals. The cafe was great too. Will definitely visit again.
