It is nice to have such a place in the center of Plovdiv. Diverse natural food and flowers in a quite clean and tidy market. Maybe aren't the most economic but the quality of the vegetables, and legumes are worthy (plus it is always good to support the local producers buying from them). Beautiful market!!! All the farmers here are super friendly, and it was an experience trying to talk to them in Bulgarian. Produce were really fresh (most of the time, but of course, there are always some “bad apples”), and are cheaper than the supermarkets. Overall, it was such an amazing experience! 😊 Hello tourists and expats! This is a great place to see and buy great and straight from the farm. There are lots of large booths selling everything from parsley to gigantic cabbages! Everything fresh and very inexpensive. Fun to shop here or just marvel at the 3’ long butternut squash! Nice place with a good variety and quality of fruits, vegetables, spices and honey. I recommend that you come with cash as most of the stands won't accept card payment. are getting higher but still ok compared to the supermarket's and low quality of products. Some of the vendors also speak English! Really good and fresh and are there. When you are selecting to buy, they are shining at all. You have to get your time and visit this villagers fruit and bazaar is Thursday Bazaar. I mainly get my nuts and spices, great and choices. and are plenty with good quality, are average nothing special in that regard. Nice fruit and veg market. So tasty and vegetables. Good price too This is an great market. I was here on Sunday and about half the booths were operating around noon. There were nuts, spices, fruits, and even bags of herbal tea picked by a vendor. This is worth the trip for any of the above items. It will remind you of most vegetable markets found throughout Europe. I bought spices, and nuts. Happy shopping.
