The walk from here to Barbury castle takes around 30 minutes, it is lovely especially during clear skies and sunset. You’ll always come around other walkers, runners and cyclists. I walked from the fort across to the horse... A lovely walk but it was long.. the is easy to find when you get there but really you have to be far away from it to experience it properly The chalk is beautiful and there was plenty of parking. However, there were two actual horses on the grounds that were extremely excitable and one of the horses kicked me in the leg. The brown in particular was chasing every person off their property and I was scared.
