Fabulous Day at Salisbury Races, group of 52 attended and we were fortunate to get seating outside near the grandstand next to the on course bookies in the beautiful sunshine. It was very busy in all grandstands and enclosures as well as paddock & parade ring, certainly a well attended event. Bar & food close by as well as conveniences, and the outside ones were very clean an well maintained. Hot food included, pizzas, pasties & pies as well as burgers and chips and more, ice creams were sold from a van on site. Everyone in our party had a thoroughly good time and we all look forward to coming back again. So fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day between two days of constant rain. How lucky we were. Lovely afternoon and evening spent at Salisbury Racecourse, the good weather helped and staff were very friendly. The facilities are great with plenty of toilets, food outlets, bars and more. Though beware an ice cream will set you back over £5, so take plenty of funds! I had a fantastic experience at the Racecourse, few food tracks, a lot of people, there are bars as well, better chosing the mobile bars, cheaper and less queue. There is the option of bringing food and chairs from home as well (it is a specific area), car park is huge and free. When the races were over, a dj started to play, it has been a fantastic experience Really great racecourse that (I think) is independently operated. Great track with a long straight finish everyone can see. Food and drinks are well presented and reasonably priced- they sometimes have a vintage London bus as a bar! A lovely day out, our first time there, but all very friendly, well kept ,and plenty of choice of food. Large parking. A lot of space within the premises. Easily accessible panorama terrace to follow the races. We like to go there. What a great little racecourse this is 👏 Took advantage of the free bus from Salisbury - great idea ! Facilities were excellent. Made lovely change not to have to queue ages to get served drinks. Staff all really pleasant. Plenty of bookmakers and on course tote facilities. Ample seating both grandstand and tables and chairs. Great days flat racing. Highly recommend. Will definitely go again. Reasonable prices for food and drink. Free bus from Salisbury train station takes only about 15 mins to get you to the course. Easy parking . Good catering facilities. A friendly atmosphere all around the grandstand and course . A great day out . Had an excellent evening at the racecourse with my partner and her parents. This was my first time going to a horse racing meeting which I thoroughly enjoyed. The staff are welcoming and friendly. It was easy to place bets with an option of a 'lucky wallet' for £20.00 good for beginners like myself where you have multiple bets chosen for you by the computer and the opportunity to win big if your luck is in. There was a bar with friendly staff and a burger and chips van. The toilets were very clean and well maintained.
