The was also so much fun and available in both French and Dutch. The people in charge of the tour were very friendly. Paying with card is possible. Wow what an awesome place. Such a lovely experience to watch someone demonstrate what they truly love to do. The host was friendly and humble and shared so much. A beautiful afternoon in lovely surroundings. Please remember, other attractions such as war museums are often very commercial. Hardin des Hiboux is family owned and run. Please support them and be amazed at the beautiful they have. Really fabulous with owls and other of prey. The is in French and Dutch, and although some of our party spoke neither, they still really enjoyed the show. You can walk around the garden and see the in their enclosures with information in English too. The highlight of our trip, I can heartily recommend! Nice little park, many birds! Observed them up close and they are soooo cute. The first part was performance and it was great, just that it was only in French and Dutch. We bought the VIP tickets since we don’t live near by so we’d like to enjoy it as much possible. Then wow!!! It includes a 20 minutes walk in the forest with your own owl on your arm and then almost two hours flying and feeding different owls… felt like it was a basic falconry training already. The staff were so nice with the animals and of course with us as well. Their principle is to adapt to the needs of the animals. All in all, perfect experience. Not too large, many different owls and other of prey. Also sheep and alpacas and what looked like a pregnant pony. The bird was really entertaining. They've kids there's also a small obstacle course. They speak both Dutch and French. Price is €10,- for adults and €8,- for children. There was a very relaxed atmosphere. A fabulous experience, we loved the friendly welcome. A dedicated couple who puts in great effort to share their love of birds. The are beautiful and the is really worth the small entrance fee. The come really close to you, encouraged by the falconers. You will also see ferrets in action. Possibility to take lovely pictures (try to sit next to the landing logs, sun in your back). A homely atmosphere. Both languages spoken, perfectly, and I am sure English not a problem either!
