The here were excellent. One female member of informed me of their 40% off mains deal and also told me to register my car so I didn't get fined. I had sweet chilli halloumi and flat bread. Delicious...would highly recommend eating here. Lively surroundings We came here as a party of 14 family. I pre booked our table. We a wide variety of food and drink. Everything was served with a smile and everyone was very happy with their meals. Most of us had desserts too. The menu is reasonably priced. It was busy but this didn’t affect the wait time for food. Wendy always minds me in the crofters , kind friendy accomodating (even when I have my messy toddler) We're here on a Friday evening with the live music , ambient lighting and 2 mains for £13. Happy days 1st time eating here come to try it out as looking for a birthday meal in April....we got the 5 starters for £18.50 cheesy chips and a side salad 1 bottle of red wine and a diet coke we were well impressed the food was lovely well done to the chef the were lovely also the food come out hot and we didn't wait long thouroughly enjoyed it and it only come to £39 for everything ...So we decided to book for our birthday meal look fwd to it thanks guys 👍 would recommend this place atmosphere The atmosphere was great, even from the outside. And then unquestionably the best thing about the whole experience was our waitress Wendy, a competent, truly kind, attentive woman. I'd travel all the way back to Roby just to see her again. Incredible service, and the food was very nice too! Wendy was amazing. Amazing server and made everyone feel extremely welcome. Made our visit worth while. She is a diamond Me and my mum arrived asking if they were still open for food and Rachel greeted us sayign yes that they are still selling food, she was very friendly throughout the night and always had a laugh and a smile. When we food Wendy helped look after us, promptly brought over the cutlery. When the food arrive she asked how our food was and happily accepted my gob full of food and a big thumbs up as a good sign! When done with the food everything on the table was cleared alway allowing me to enjoy me night and a couple more drinks! Thank you Rachel and Wendy I cant fault this place, the food is excellent. One of your members is an absolute superstar her name is Robin, my Nan absolutely loves her, she really deserves recognition as you do not get service like that anymore. With regards to the food, we had fish and chips and giant gyros. The food was fantastic, only feedback would be a bit more Chicken on the gyros 😊 Visited here on the afternoon of 14-10-25 as a group of four, we purchased 3 mixed grills and a hunters chicken. The mixed grills were disgusting with extremely overcooked gammon and chicken however the steak was actually cooked as requested but chewy and tough as hell, the hunters chicken was also poorly cooked and resembled slop. The young lady that served us during our visit (sorry never got her name) is a real asset to your establishment and we all agreed not to complain about the food simply because she was a superb host and made the visit really pleasant. Two of our group had visited here on other occasions but never on a Tuesday and say the meals were much nicer then, maybe you had a different cook when we visited? 5***** for the member 2** for the poor food. We are quickly becoming regular visitors at The Crofters Arms. On our last visit on Friday evening (21st November) a group of us went after reserving a table for 7 guests which was ready for us when we arrived. We a variety of different meals and all arrived at the same time. The food was and value. We especially like ‘Fish Friday’ you can’t beat 2 meals for £13.50. I used to be a regular customer with my family, but due to some negative experiences, I stayed away for quite some time. Today, on 09/08/2025 at around 2:15 pm, I came back here with my to enjoy some burgers. The first impression was — the girl who took my order at the counter was super friendly and very attentive. We THE OLD FAITHFUL - FRIED BUTTERMILK CHICKEN DOUBLE, The LAYING IT ON CHICK, and 2 x THE BIG BEEF. Everything was fresh, generous, and full of flavor — absolutely impeccable. Well, I just had to come here and leave my review because my and I had a truly lovely afternoon, with food and service. I will definitely be coming back more often. After ordering 3 rump steaks, one of them was totally inedible as it was so tough and chewy. When raised this to a member of staff, she informed us the chef said there was no other 8oz steaks but we could get something else however, we may have to pay. Disappointing and not good customer service as you could have offered a refund for the meal. Had a lovely meal in the crofters, on the way out my dad felt unwell which resulted in him fainting. A member Anthony was quick to help out and stayed with us and assisted him. He even helped me speak on the phone to the ambulance! She makes it a very nice experience to eat here. The food was nice too. Music was on. Went for my daughters birthday and was very pleasantly surprised at both the welcoming atmosphere and the standard of the food. Loved the cheese doughnuts and the chicken gyros. Thanks Josh for the service and the wine recommendation. Our get together on Sunday was made extra special by Wendy who looked after us by going above and beyond. We felt like she was one of the as she even offered to help with mum’s meal as she’s not in the best of health.
