We visited here a couple of days ago and it is very tranquil with lots of different areas to walk around. Listen out for the 🐸 in the pond nearest the reception area they are incredibly noisy. You can purchase drinks here too and the owners are very hospitable. Well worth a visit. Beautiful gardens that are peaceful and restful. Owners are very welcoming and friendly. We spent around 2 hours walking around and enjoying our picnic overlooking the river. Very close to Brantome and highly recommended Beautiful, tranquil gardens lovingly maintained by a charming British husband and wife team. In the garden you can have a cup of tea, coffee or a soda and feel instantly relaxed. We enjoyed our very much. Dogs welcome on lead. It is well worth a visit. We received a really good welcome when we arrived and our host told us all about how the gardens had developed. It is a really relaxing place to both walk round and sit. Nicely maintained garden offering a lot of different views. Best to take a drink and a snack to have a little picknick and to fully enjoy your surroundings. A truely magical place to spend a beautiful afternoon. Whole atmosphere was peaceful and we really enjoyed wandering around the trees and gardens. We were welcomed and entertained by the owners and spent a delightful hour sharing stories and a cup of tea. Would recommend to anyone and dogs are also welcome.
