Very nice area and village Pretty village Nice for a short stop when you're in the neighbourhood We've driven past the building for the last 15 years when in the area so it was great to finally get to see inside. The restoration has been very well done and the whole building is now accessible to visitors. It's not staffed but there are many displays around the site explaining the history and restoration project. The signs are in French but Google Lens translate did a good job of giving an English version to explain. The old photos of the building and Villamblard were particularly interesting. Entrance is free at the moment, with lots of historical items and information throughout the three floors of the chateau. worth spending an hour of your time taking a look.
